Great site for Working and Casual Musicians. Retiring from Band's so wont use again myself but highly recommend it.

I cancelled my subscription, yet they are still taking payment from me. I have tried to contact support but got ignored!

Band mix is seen by many as expensive and hit & miss, I c add n only say that I found three outstanding musicians here and the app & website were great.
I’d definitely use bandmix again.
One improvement I’d like to see is the search parameters be more accurate. If I’m looking for guitarists, it also gives me bassists outside of my search area. Other than that, I now have an awesome band thanks to this website.

The staff at Bandmix are courteous, knowledgeable professionals in the music field. Their organization is very responsive to your personal needs and give you a constant feed of viable verified candidates for your musical and band related needs. There are a plethora of choices for you to expand your musical horizons and find you just the right musician to complete your band. With very competitive rates that allow to do virtual auditions and message other like minded musicians privately. Nothing bad to say about this staff.

So in a 15 month period, my ensemble (The Splendid Anachronisms), given we have posted ample information, photos, demo audio and video, have netted a big fat goose egg on successful connections, both in terms of adding talent to our effort, and venues we'd hope might spot us. As a matter of fact, most in the community I know have never heard of Bandmix.com. Bandmix has no criteria for quality control of its member content. I would estimate in the 80th percentile of listings don't even contain a photo, let alone demo audio/video material. Our presentation is straightforward, not claiming to be anything we're not, just an honest effort with reasonable objectives. Most Bandmix.com content seems to be either shadows behind no front material, or bar bands with no real focus on what they seek. Worst of all: Bandmix provides NO feedback forum or blog where members can voice concerns or ideas for improvement of the service. It's basically pay and you get what you get. Adding to the insult are periodic emails saying, "We have (x number of) new musicians near Columbia, MD," which reveals faceless llstings with no demo material, or others no where near my geographical area. This reflects simple "GIGO" data matching with little concern for the quality of the product to customers.

I have been on and off of it but save your money. First of all no one ever messages you back. Probably because you need premium to initiate convos. And two they charged me 14 days after a complete month on auto renewal which they will get you on silently and refused to refund me the 12.95 making me go into the negative. I wasn’t able to even use bandmix during this time and I got hit on an auto renewal. Must be hurting for money if they can’t issue refunds claimed it was because I used the service after the auto renewal. I was simply checking to see if their delusion that the service was working was true. 🖕

Contacted a few people on Bandmix with view to form new band but so far haven't heard from them. Have they found another band but not bothered to take their profile down or have they never intended to join a band anyhow? The site is only as good as its members. Only person to reply to me had given up playing.

Bandmix is bizarre. Apparently everyone is a multi-instrumentalist - but its not clear what instrument they are skilled at. I think its really more of a poser/ self aggrandizement site than for musicians really looking to connect. Customer service is abysmal- you submit a request and it gets ignored.

The good thing it is low cost but watch out it will automatically re-subscribe you if you dont uncheck the box.

Bandmix.com provides an easy to use way for musicians to promote their brand. I felt my eclectic style of music was not a good fit after giving it a fair try. I just could't find others there who shared my creative vision. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in setting up a site there. They have all the tools you need to get started and it's very easy to navigate.

I needed a singer and after months of searching joined Bandmix and got my singer. Perfect.

After I explained that the site did not work out for me, they refused to refund my RECENT auto subscription. Claimed they would give me the credit on account THAT WAS NOT EFFECTIVE.
Save your money for something less useless!

This website is complete and utter useless rubbish

Terrible service. I paid for the premium service and its useless. If other people aren't premium they can't reply and there isn't even much activity. Boards is a better service and free. Can't even create a new add and even if i did nobody can contact me unless they are premium and very few are. Money grabbing site with absolutely no support and it claims to be "the best" weeks have gone by and I can't get a reply and I'm a pro musician with 20 years experience. I've had a lot of replies elsewhere but none from bandmix

This platform has done wonders since I joined five years ago, but as I don’t get very much action in my area, it’s almost useless to have a profile right now. I will definitely be back later on as this is a five star platform.

There is Absolutely Nothing Wrong with Bandmix!!! Its the People that advertise on the site !! as High as 90% are Nothing but "Time Waisters " they dont even have the Decency to send a Short reply to say "Sorry Not available " even when you advertise that Gigs are Available!! .

Very easy service to use, displays all info that you would need, easy to navigate and contact other bands. I found my bandmates on this site and played with them whilst I lived in Australia. I never would have bumped into them IRL or been confident enough to approach anyone else so I'm really thankful for this service, made my time in Aus that much more special!
