if i could give no stars i would! First day of purchase headhones charged then lost all battery within 10-20 mins. Contacted customer care , arranged for them to be collected and fixed. following week a email arrived to say they were being delivered back the following Tuesday. Tuesday came, time frame came, notification came to say they had been delivered. Not to my house they hadn't. When i looked at the tracking details not only had they been delivered to the wrong address ...it was the wrong country!!! they had been delivered somewhere in the Netherlands , im in the UK!!
called customer care again. Normal reply of we will look into it. I have continually had to chase them, if i email its the same rubbish response of thankyou for your patience....which i've seriously run out of now!! ive been given every excuse under the sun...its the service departments fault, there not replying to us. on Sunday i demanded to speak to a supervisor , i received a call at 22.15PM!! i was told on Monday i would receive a email with tracking details as they were going to send out a new pair, no tracking details arrive, i email, same response ...thankyou for your patience. today ive emailed numerous times, same responses so i called. only to speak to a man for him to tell me the tickets are backed up and i need to wait! hopefully by Friday they will have a update for me.....and update for what ....to tell me you sent my product to the wrong place!! I know this already. Ive informed them in writing i wish to make a formal complaint. this whole saga started on the 3rd may. its now the 27th!
this is the most shocking customer service ive ever received ! Primark is better than this! we were considering purchasing our new TV from B/O.
NOT NOW!!!!!!!! And to the b/o customer service team who monitor this site for reviews DO NOT PUT ....thankyou for your patience!!!!!!

We visited the store at 21 Boulevard des Capucines in Paris France while on vacation from the States. My husband's Mercedes Benz has the B&O speakers, so he was excited to visit the store to learn more about their products. The customer service provided to us by Gregoire Kanban was exceptional. He was informative and very detailed on all of the products which my husband was interested in. He also had us experience the 5-speaker set up in the shop and WOW, what a phenomenal experience. The sound that B&O products is unmatched! We ended up purchasing the Beosound Explore Ferrari edition and we couldn't be happier with the purchase. This will be a nice addition to our outdoor speakers while lounging by the pool.

Honestly regret buying these Bang & Olufsen headphones. They look nice, but that’s about it. They disconnect from my phone all the time, and they’re so sensitive that if I move too much while training or even move my hand near them, the music pauses or the app closes. It makes working out super annoying because you constantly have to fix something.
For something this expensive, I expected way better. Headphones should be usable while moving normally, not only when sitting completely still. Definitely not worth the price in my experience.

Total jobs worth.
Despite being contacted by UPS for w missing parcel. BO asked me to file a report and it appears the last number was missing. (9). BO even gave me the details. They asked me weeks later that UPS could not investigate the loss (even though they had knocked in my door..
Alicia - customer service is the biggest jobs worth I’ve ever come across and o wouldn’t want her representing my business
Despite having a stroke I which I’ve Indlemed BO and UPS they need me to add a (9) to a form submitted to them because they are too jobsworth to add the number 9 to a form I’ve signed. So they are happy to add more pressure on a client who paid in full for items for a birthday
Total shocking response from a company
Anyone thinking this is acceptable .. it’s a total sham and the response to this will be a cop out too.
Bhs closed
Mother care closed
House of Fraser closed
John Lewis - store closures
Woolworths uk - closed
Walmart uk - gone
I’ll leave but a few business fail to forget there customers and think their brand makes them untouchable
Edit 1…. Thanks for assisting .. why is she going in a sin what I need for to of here already a refund sent ? This shows the lack of communication between teams
I e had nothing but issues …. It’s now a month later, I’m
Without a product I’d
Ordered and am now going to have to start All over.
Ps.. someone needs to have a serious look at reviews there are more red then green. .. the company image is being effected by the quality and feedback from a team who should be hheee to go uber en above
BO are no longer the company I remember
Edit 2
BO will do nothing like the team who were supposedly here to help. Nothing will change . For someone who has had a stroke wnd informed BO of this the assistance is shocking it’s disgraceful..
30yrs as a customer this experience has shown me how a customer shouldn’t be treated
EDIT 3
Over a month
Later and you tell me to refer to the email chain for update? Not here. Of you think a month of waiting investigation is acceptable them your all deluded.
I’ve now told BO due to to suck poor feedback and not resolving this Ina. Timely manor I’m going to cut my loss ans walk away .. it’s an expensive walk away .. you’ve spoiled a birthday gift a cost me 1k in total for something similar.
Advice to anyone purchasing
Go to a store. Dint deal via e commerce
If you can keep clear do so

EDIT 4
At this point, even the original review ran out of space, yet the issue still remains unresolved.
After all the additional communication, escalation requests, emails, explanations, and waiting time, the final outcome remains exactly the same:
no refund and no direct replacement have been offered for a product that was defective straight out of the box and never worked even once.
The only solution still being proposed is inspection followed by repair.
From a customer perspective, it is extremely difficult to understand why a flagship premium product that arrived completely non-functional is being treated as a standard repair case instead of being replaced with a new unit.
Very disappointing experience overall, both in terms of product quality control and customer support.
EDIT 5
After long and exhausting communication with support, the situation still remains unresolved.
What is especially concerning is that after receiving our defective headphones, we started reading reviews and discussing the issue with other owners of the Beoplay H100. Unfortunately, we discovered that similar problems appear to be far more common than expected for a flagship premium product.
This creates a very strong impression that the company is already aware of recurring issues with this model, yet customers are still left to go through extremely complicated warranty procedures instead of receiving simple and reasonable solutions for products that were defective from the start.
Throughout this entire process, the company has effectively shifted all responsibility to retailers and warranty procedures, while we as customers were left spending weeks on emails, explanations, escalation requests, and searching for solutions ourselves.
For a brand positioned as premium, both the product quality control and the level of customer support have been deeply disappointing.
At this point, it honestly feels like the word “premium” is used more in marketing than in the actual customer experience. Between the serious quality control issues, defective products straight out of the box, and the extremely complicated support process, this has been one of the worst experiences we have had with an expensive electronics purchase.
I would strongly recommend future buyers carefully consider whether they are prepared not only for the warranty experience, but also for the possibility of receiving a product whose actual quality may not match its premium positioning.
Edit 6
At this point, I honestly no longer see much sense in continuing this discussion, because the situation has remained unchanged for nearly three weeks despite all the communication and escalation attempts.
In public responses here, we are being told that the company wants to review the case again, provide support, and find a fair solution. However, in private communication we continue to receive essentially the same standard corporate replies without any actual resolution.
The core issue has never changed: we received a flagship premium product that was defective straight out of the box and never functioned even once. Despite multiple emails, escalation requests, we are still being directed back into the same warranty process focused primarily on inspection and repair.
At this stage, it feels like there is a significant difference between the promises of customer care made publicly and the actual experience customers receive in practice.
I wrote these reviews so that future buyers can better understand what level of product quality and customer support they may realistically expect when purchasing such an expensive product — especially if something goes wrong.
That said, if the company is finally prepared to offer a real and practical resolution, you already have our email address and our case number.

I bought the Beoplay H100 for around $2,000. After 1.5 years of use, the ear cushions and the inner headband already need to be replaced — and these are far from cheap parts.
In the end, it doesn’t feel like a premium product. It feels like an expensive item with constant extra costs. For the money spent on these replacements, you could almost buy a good new pair of headphones from another brand every year.
The sound may be good, but premium is not just about how something sounds on day one. For this price, I expected durability, not something that already feels worn out after 1.5 years.
The worst part is that if they were cheaper, I would have already thrown them away and moved on.
I really regret this purchase. I will not buy anything from this brand again.

Simple and straightforward website with a superb first class delivery service.
This was not my first order and I have always been pleased with the quality of B&O products.
Bought an A5 in 2024. After a few months the initial stopped working. The power button light continued to blink. I did the two resets with no success. I contacted b&o and was told to send a5 in for repair. They sent me box and paid shipping label, no problem. Got unit back, unit didn’t work. Went through process again. I wasn’t sent shipping box this time, filled out repair again then drove again to have mailed off to Adam’s electronics again. A5 came back and this time worked. It played for about few months and went out again. Contacted b&o, they said it was my WiFi connection . I have a beolit 20 that has always worked. They said try another WiFi connection. This is a $1400 unit and I’m suppose switch my WiFi connection. I never got an explanation as to why. At this point the email thread was a kilometer long. Contacted Adam’s again. Adam’s told me I had to wait until b&o contacts Adam’s electronics to process a warranty claim. I wasn’t sent shipping getting to run around at this point. This went on for four months without resolve. And my storage box looks like it’s been through a ruby match. So they took my $1400 and I’m stuck with a broke A5. Be careful. These people aren’t worth sending your money to.

Horrible customer service have my pair of h100 that constantly become unresponsive for hours or days at a time. No customer service able to help or at least offer replacement have already sent the headphones twice. For such premium product one would expect at least average warranty service

Final update: Following my follow-up, Bang & Olufsen have now confirmed that no further support will be provided and that the previously offered 10% discount remains their final position.
While I appreciate the clarification, this confirms that despite escalation and public engagement, no meaningful resolution has been offered.
Update: Bang & Olufsen responded on 17 April stating that my case would be reviewed further with their leadership team. As of today 26th April, there has been no follow-up or update.
A public commitment was made, but it has not been honoured. This lack of response raises further concerns about the level of customer care and accountability, especially for a brand positioned at the premium end of the market.
A clear update on the status of this review is still outstanding but it seems like follow up does not happen after so many promises which to me seem to sound empty hearted
I purchased a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beoplay E8 earphones, expecting the level of quality and longevity typically associated with a premium brand.
Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. Despite only occasional use and careful handling, one of the earbuds developed battery and charging issues, making the product unreliable. Basic troubleshooting did not resolve the problem.
What is more concerning is the after-sales support. As the product is now out of warranty, no repair option was offered, and the only resolution provided after escalation was a 10% discount on a future purchase through their official website. In practical terms, this does not represent meaningful support, especially when similar or larger discounts are widely available through authorised retailers.
This is not the way a luxury brand should behave. For a company positioned at the premium end of the market, I expected both greater product durability and a more considered response when things go wrong.
Instead, the product has effectively become unusable, with limited options beyond replacement.
Based on this experience, I would advise potential buyers to carefully consider long-term reliability and after-sales support before investing in these products.
Update: Following further escalation, Bang & Olufsen confirmed that no additional support or repair options would be provided and attributed the product’s lifespan to external factors, despite the limited use described. The case was then closed with no further resolution beyond the previously offered 10% discount.
This reinforces my concern that the level of after-sales support does not align with the expectations of a premium brand.

My Beoplay headphones stopped working after 2 years of light use. I reached out to customer service asking for service information. Apparently there is no technical service in-house or 3rd party in UK for headphones. They suggested 15% discount on a new one as if one would buy again a non-supported product.

I've owned multiple B&O products and was a loyal customer — until this experience.
I submitted a warranty claim for my Beoplay H100 headphones. B&O sent me a prepaid UPS return label and I shipped them back. UPS tracking shows the package was damaged in transit before reaching B&O's service center.
Over two months, B&O gave me three different explanations for denying my claim — the last being that UPS had assessed the shipment as "fraudulent." I checked with UPS directly. Their system shows a standard damage claim. No fraud assessment.
B&O provided the return label and are the shipper of record. Despite this, they've refused to replace my headphones or offer a refund.
Very disappointing from a brand that positions itself as premium.

The expert advice, time spent in resolving the problem with 54 year old system ! Was invaluable.
Didn't manage to save all the old system, but I now have amalgamated it with a new one and reaping the result of great sounds.
If you want a great system, then go speak to people who know the products completely at B & O.

* i invested nearly €3,000 in Bang & Olufsen audio products. The sound quality is exceptional — I have no complaints about the hardware. However, their Android support is non-existent.*
*The Beoplay H100 pairs with my Samsung S25 Ultra but cannot reliably reconnect after powering off without a complete re-pairing. This works flawlessly on iPhone. The Bang and Olufsen Grace as well*
*I contacted support three times with clear technical explanations. Each time they either ignored the Android issue or offered a refund instead of acknowledging the problem. When they did acknowledge the problem they confused me even more and I think they completely forgot about me. Or chose to ignore me*
*B&O's message is clear: Android users are second-class customers. If you use Android, buy elsewhere.*
Edit: in response to B&O's official reply, solve my issue and I promise a very glowing review. They've had me running in circles all day long, uploading logs, and trying repeatedly to pair to your lackluster app. I'm tired of that. If THIS is the kind of service and forethought I get from the 'prestigious' B&O, I'll just go with JBL next time.
Edit no.2: I did as you asked. Reached out again. Radio silence. You have not kept your word. Disappointing to say the least.
Edit no. 3:
**Premium Sound, Unreliable Performance: A Cautionary Tale**
I invested nearly €2,800 in Bang & Olufsen products — €1,600 for the Beoplay H100 headphones and €1,200 for the Beoplay Grace earbuds. I did this because I believed in the brand's reputation for quality.
The sound quality and design are genuinely premium. That's not in question. But premium materials and beautiful sound mean nothing if the products don't work as promised.
**The Reality:**
The H100 headphones drain battery at an alarming rate — 1-2% with every power-on — despite Bang & Olufsen's claims about storage mode and battery longevity. The Beoplay Grace earbuds won't connect to the app without repeated, complicated troubleshooting. Once they disconnect — which happens frequently — you must redo the entire pairing process from scratch. This is on an Android device, and it's neither intuitive nor acceptable for a product at this price point.
**The Customer Service:**
When I reached out to Bang & Olufsen with documented issues, I received a delayed response that essentially deflected blame to my Android device, despite the company having only tested on Samsung (which is also Android). They offered no real solution, only excuses.
**My Warning:**
If you use Android and you're considering Bang & Olufsen, understand what you're buying: a beautiful-sounding product with serious reliability issues and a company unwilling to take responsibility when things go wrong. The premium price does not guarantee premium support or performance.
I'm keeping these headphones despite their flaws. But potential buyers deserve to know the full picture before spending nearly €3,000.

B&O HQ and the Taiwanese distributor are just passing the buck to each other. The tactile feel of the purchased unit is completely different from the demo unit, yet they refuse to provide any solution.
See how they treated their customer:
Dear Daniel,
Thank you for your follow-up and for sharing your concerns in detail. We also appreciate your patience while this case has been reviewed by the Customer Care Management Team.
We understand your frustration regarding the dial feel and your experience after the unit was returned. We also acknowledge your concern about the handling of your case by our authorised distributor.
We would like to clarify that Farwide / Kuanyuan Telecom is an authorised distributor and official service partner for our products in Taiwan. Following their inspection and testing, they have confirmed that the headphone is performing within the specified design and quality parameters, and no defect has been identified. Based on this technical assessment, the dial resistance and tactile feedback you described are considered within the product’s intended specifications.
While we appreciate that the tactile experience may differ from your expectations or from demo units, this alone does not indicate a functional issue under our quality standards.
For any further assistance, service options, or possible next steps, we kindly recommend continuing to work directly with Farwide / Kuanyuan Telecom, as they are best positioned to provide support and solutions locally.
We value your feedback and will ensure your comments are shared internally for ongoing product and service review. Should you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
Kind regards,

I bought a Beoplay Ex EarPods and none of the EarPods adaptors fit no matter how much I tried. I lost them a couple of time as they fall off just with normal walking and basic activity. B&O refused to deal with it because it was outside the 30 day return period and did not admit that there is a fault in design, it was my fault that I tried to make it work and did not return them straight away. Lost confidence in this company and will not buy B&O again, I bought their direct competitor EarPods instead and they work perfectly.
Thanks for replying, my case is 1504782 . I already used customer support as per your link but not much positive support from them, I got the same answer that it is out of the 30 days return period and no attempts to understand why it is not fitting, or accept that there is design problem. Basically the usual very nice and friendly answer with no attempts to resolve the problem.

First, I was a huge B&O fan for years and have many of their products including earbuds, headphones, small and large home audio products. While I like the design and sound, their reliability and customer support are awful. I have two pair of earbuds and BOTH have stopped working and cannot be repaired. That's $1,000 worth of paperweights with zero support from customer service. Today my H9 headphones stopped connecting to the B&O app, so I can no longer update them either.
My Beosound Stage will no longer connect to WiFi and, again, no support. Customer service tickets are 179849 and 1506005 but I likely won't even follow up on my H9s or Stage given the lack of support.
At this price point, these failures are unacceptable and I am no longer a customer. Save your money.

Bang & Olufsen positions itself as the premium brand for audio, obviously from a pricing as well as a brand perspective.
Unfortunately, once a sale has been concluded, their premium apparently ends at that according to my experience.
I bought Beoplay H100 (their premium, flagship over-ear headphones). Right from the start, the headphones had a weird feeling to it and I tried to live it out for a while (thinking they possibly have to adapt to my physics or something similar). After about a month, I could not bear wearing the headphones anymore due to the ever present asymmetry on my unit starting to cause even physical pain. I tried another unit of the same headphones eventually and could even verify this was unique to my unit, so I contacted support.
Support responded swiftly at first with standard procedures and text block responses and asked me several times for the exact same information, apparently not even reading my messages at all. The warranty procedure involves sending brand new headphones of less then a month of age in and taking 10 business days from receiving them to diagnose. This essentially means that you are out of your (less then a month old!) product for at least 3 weeks without replacement or anything in hand. Also, B&O uses the cheapest possible delivery service from DHL Express (Economy, around 4 day delivery estimate) for those things, while advertising premium shipping for buying their products. That does not add up.
The shipping instructions on their return is also more then unclear and leaves out several important details (i.e., drop off locations, DHL does not operate customer facilities in most of Austria), that are still not cleared up.
After their first standard responses, support is ignoring messages for days and has not replied back at all.
For non-premium offerings, this may to be an expected support experience, even though it is already quite bad. For a premium offering such as B&O that positions itself so, this is completely unacceptable.
I can only recommend you stay away from their products until B&Os support processes are up to standard and their QC does not require you to diagnose issues yourself. Products may be defective at times and things happen, but if they are, you can reasonably expect adequate support. This is not what you get from B&O by a mile.

Bang And Olufsen have replaced my Eleven ear buds twice so I am on my third pair since Nov 2025.
They have all had issues with wireless charging, signal drop out and don’t get me started on the app it is best described as flakey.
I must admit though the sound quality when they do work is excellent
