While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Rude and dangerous repair.

Rude, very slow, and when car returned, power steering did not work and battery had died and failed after being flat for so long. Claim it is all not their fault. Car is unsafe, and will not start! Do not reply to emails. Lie on calls. Never call back. A Dangerous Company.

Unprofessional ignorant and rude.

This company is linked into insurance companies that also have terrible reviews.
They say they'll do something but are working tearlessly to refute any claim they get, I suppose they are only doing what they get paid well for but people suffer and need to spend a small fortune taking the insurance companies to court when claims are dismissed.
I have been waiting six months to have my vehicle properly inspected whilst my once beautiful Ftype sits rotting away in a yard.
I would not recommend any insurance company using them.

A Saga client crashed into my car

Two weeks later, still no response, Saga no help, this company has been taken over by the Davies Group who are also criminally negligent!

A Saga client crashed into my car, unfortunately, I found myself shuffled to these people. And so the wait begins... Repairs have been authorised, but, we have to wait for this to be formally received by my repairer from Banwells. The usual story, they don’t answer the phone calls and would probably blame covid into the future.
End of October, still not got my car back! Banwells don’t need to have any care at all what the public thinks of them

LIARS and Untrustworthy

Unfortunately had dealings with Banwells which was out of my control as I was involved in a non fault crash and after an unacceptable amount of time finally had a call (from an engineers mobile, so no call recording were available) offering me pre accident value. I argued the amount was incorrect due to the improvements made and was explained additional would be paid on receipt of invoices. I received pre accident value and all invoices were rejected after engineer said they would be paid.
Do not trust a single word these people say!
It's simple, AVOID! Use someone else.
