These people falsely advertise kits that are apparently "bolt-on" for cars, for example, I purchased a throttle valve upgrade kit that was in their words a "direct replacement" for my Audi RS3, I also purchased an oil cooler which had zero instructions for installation...

I highly recommend that you avoid these people altogether as they are nothing but a bunch of liars!

Customer support literally doesn't care about your issues and will stop responding if you call them out on their bullshit

Bought a oil cooler kit for a audi ttrs 8j advertised as a easy install but nothing fits as per their own instructions, the main bracket supplied is too big and doesn't fit the oil cooler where the pipes screw into the cooler,the pictures for fitting are for the newer ttrs 8s not 8j, they offered a refund if i sent it back but the cost of shipping back to Germany is just too much hassle, perhaps make sure your kits fit before selling to the public.

If you are thinking about ordering from this company, no hesitation. These people are really down to earth & loves what they do, true passion. I have done 2 orders from here, shipping from Germany -> Sweden took 2days delivery and i didn't even choose the express option. Can't recommend them enough. 5/5

sold me an "aftermarket" knock sensor which costs 30 euro for 80 euro. Checked with vin. Asked for a full refund. Not recommended.

UPDATE because for some reason I receive replies now.

So back when the post was created, I had ordered the part 2118t128 which was an aftermarket (as listed on the site)1.8T Knock sensor and paid €79.9 for it.

It was ordered thinking it was an aftermarket, premium product by Bar-tek.

The item I received was in fact a standard OEM Bosch Knock Sensor (part number 0 261 231 038) which is a part commonly available for 25-30€.

I never said anything about cheap parts, about China or what is stated in the reply.

I contacted Lars for the refund and was first met with many rude comments and really unprofessional attitude. I only sent a straighforward mail explaining why I thought it was wrong and asked for my money back.

The refund took ages, and felt like something very hard. Yes, I took the refund after me trying and justifying it. However, I do have the right to review this experience, and state the truth behind it.

All emails exist, please, do not attack me personally again. I clearly stated what happened, with facts. And I change the title to a realistic one: beware of what you order.

It was a bad experience and people have the right to know. That is why Trustpilot exists.

pretty good items some are just chinese clone rebranded, customer support is lacking, if you have any issues with your orders you will have to wait for a very long time for them to respond
