Barista Cafe Bar Reviews 5

I was a regular customer at this cafe bar until now. I tried to get a seat to order breakfast when then opened and was told I couldn’t sit in one of the comfy seats as these were for parties of more then 1(the tables were separated to only seat two people anyway). Bearing in mind the shop had only just opened so was empty and they were aware that I needed to sit on the comfier chairs because of a back and hip injury but I was told I couldn’t. The service I received on trying to get a seat was ridiculous and appalling even more so because there were multiple staff on that didn’t say anything or intervene. They clearly don’t want to support anyone with any kind of injury or disability which is disappointing. Hasten to add I left without ordering and will not be going back.

I have been going many times and the staff are always friendly and the food is great. Although on my recent vist with a friend. We were enjoying a lovely lunch and a chat which was interrupted by 2 staff from the local chemist asking if they could take our blood pressure!! Although my friend agreed to it, I refused as I feel that there is a time and a place for blood pressure checks and it's not in a restaurant while I'm enjoying a nice meal!! I felt it spoilt my afternoon out. I will go back again but hopefully I can enjoy an uninterrupted meal this time.

An acceptable coffee, but it takes a long time to wait for it to be ready...

Delicious but expensive coffee, but there was excellent service.

Disgusting greasy food, had to wait 45 minutes for two meals when it wasn't particularly busy and the staff where rude.
