Michael at Barnard Marcus New Malden not only caused my sale with them to not proceed costing me £1000 in wasted solicitor fees due to his incompetence but also when I left and joined a new estate agent he sabotaged my current sale by sharing my information to a buyer in direct violation of the property ombudsman’s code. I even came in to the offices once to collect my keys and they had the door locked as a customer was angry at Michael!!! Avoid this estate agent at all costs in New Malden, im currently going through their complaints procedure!

I no longer use Barnard Marcus Putney as a managing agent. However. I have had to go back through figures for tax purposes and discovered discrepancies in their payments to me.

In 2021 I was receiving 1'291.40 in rent from them except for February when I received 1'219.40.

In 2018 I was receiving 1'300.51 in rent from them except for October when I received 1'200.51.

Slip of the accountants finger or fraud? Either way, the mistake was in Barnard Marcus' favour.

Thornton Heath branch stay far away. If you need a property to rent go elsewhere they are the worst most unprofessional agents I have used.
Why has it taken three months for my deposit to be returned to me!!??? I have been ignored my emails phone calls no one calls back they are horrible stay CLEAR!!!

I have been having difficulty selling my house.I received a letter from Barnard Marcus saying they were aware of this & that they could help.They arranged a home visit. Less than 2 hours before the appointment they phoned to say there was no point in them coming as they don't do my area.

Worst company for landlords, they don't pay rent on time, they don't chase tenants for overdue rent until you as a landlord follow up. They don't check the property. They are useless worse company I have ever paid to let my property.

The service by Barnard Marcus, notably Eva and her team was excellent. They are friendly, responsive and professional. Eva gave us an honest appraisal of our house and we had a viable buyer after a week on the market. Barnard Marcus kept in touch and helped make the process smooth.
