not worth for what you pay

The quality has been getting worse day by day. I always place large orders for my business—never less than 10 kg. Over the last few orders, I’ve noticed a serious decline in the quality of the cashews. They are soggy, blackish, and very moist instead of crunchy, which is how they used to be.

Whenever I contact customer care, I receive the same response: they say it’s the same batch and simply ask me to return the product—nothing more.

This time, I also ordered pistachios at €34 per kg. The pictures on the website show large, premium pistachios, but what I received were extremely small—almost half the size of peanuts. This was extremely disappointing.

I now source pistachios for Nutamo, and at the same price, the quality is far superior—the pistachios are at least four times larger and significantly better overall. Compared to that, this product is a complete letdown.

This feels like misleading information. I don’t consider this a good buy at all. What’s most disappointing is that earlier the pistachios used to be good, but after the quality declined, I switched suppliers. I decided to give it another try this time, and unfortunately, it was a big mistake.

The send expired product so I wrote to…

The send expired product so I wrote to them. They said they will refund money of that one product. They asked me if they should return to my bank account (not sure where else they could return). I replied saying yes and then no reply so I send a reminder and very convenient answer .we have still not done it ..will do now.. I don't find it a very professional behaviour..first to make a mistake and then to not even care to refund on time. I still haven't received the money ..hopefully it should come!

Dried up and untasty premium medjool dates

Product: Medjool Jumbo Dates, 5kg (orange packaging) - best before June 30, 2022 - purchased on December 10, 2021.
I know from experience that dried fruits, if not handled properly, lose their freshness quickly. Therefore, before buying, I checked to see which product was from the latest 2021 harvest and was juicy. Unfortunately, I received very dry dates that do not have their typical caramel or marzipan flavor. Customer service is extremely hard to reach (home office) and very slow to respond. In addition, they do not want to take the product back because it was opened by me. This was necessary to be able to inspect the dates from the inside and of course taste them. This is not my first bad experience with BasBoerNoten.nl and will not buy dried fruit there in the future.

stale nuts

I ordered cashews, almonds, and flaxseed just to give it a try to this website. And I am disappointed as the nuts were stale. Waste of money.
