Base London Lomax black ankle shoes and Sutton black boots

Lomax black ankle shoes...
First of all I like the shoes and "the cut" of them. They didn't came with manufacturing problems and they look pretty neat.

BUT, they completely went CRAZY with the branding in them !!!
3 instead of 1 unnecessary logos... in just one boot! W H Y ? ? ?
They completely ruin the overall aspect on them. I would had want to buy more different pairs but, because all the logos I just couldn't do it! You will lose money from the clients just because of that ! ! ! Don't you realize that ?
- 1st "frontal logo on the tongue" is made from way too big and thick chunk of rubber (4 cm in diameter!) which creates discomfort on the instep (for someone that has some arch)
- 2nd "has a pull tab with the logo" made from thick that is a GOOD idea but, is made about 1 cm too short to really be useful... Such a pity...
- 3rd "metalic logo" on the lateral of the boots that stays right over fibula bones (lateral exterior ankle bones). Why there ???
It doesn't make sense people !

Other problem that in the past wasn't there, is now the lining. Now is a very thin material like the one on the womans leggins when in the past was a pretty thick syntetic material or maybe even cotton (not really sure what it was but much durable for sure).

Sutton boots waxy black...
Same problem with the logos except maybe that the lateral one now is not staying on my lateral ankle bones and the one f4om the tongue just look awful there and I have to remove them because look BAD. They aren't sport shoes ! ! ! At least if it was made from leather would had been something more easy to ignore. But from 4 cm rounded chunk of rubber is just...

Btw the EVA midsole/outsole is much firmer than I expected to be. For the cushioning that it has, probably I should had gone for rubber outsole models instead (because is not that much difference).
In other brands the EVA was more pleasant to use, than the one founded here with the ones that I've tried so far.

I had to do so many DIY jobs on them just to make them wearable and improve the comfort to be able to use them that it doesn't even worth the trouble to buy them in the first places. I wanted them to have them at work...

They lost good opportunity with actually nice boots just because of the excessive and unnecessary branding!

Not even my Carmina dress boots (890€ model) don't have more than 1 logo ! Just one !
And that 1 is in the outsole (do you see the irony?) and nothing else... like most of the boots on the market.

Excellent service

Ordered a pair of walking boots and was impressed with the whole buying experience; I was kept advised about the delivery, it was very well packaged and, most importantly, the boots are excellent quality. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
