Great equipment appalling service
We needed a hoist fitting to a new mobility vehicle as I rely on a wheelchair: 1. We were told we could have it fitted after we got the vehicle, when the vehicle arrived they demanded to fit it before we received it delaying the process of us getting it and virtually calling us liars. They also demanded we drop off the wheel chair beforehand which would leave me imprisoned in my home.
2. When we received the vehicle they needed to fit points to my wheelchair and told us it would take an hour, two simple brackets!
3. After three hours plus waiting, I nearly missed a vital hospital appointment! As it was had to rush to get to it.
4. Forced to sit on very uncomfortable chairs in a dismal unwelcoming foyer, which left me in so much pain I was virtually crying by the time we left, I’m 58 year old bloke it takes a lot to make me cry!
5. In the end I had to corner the manager and demand our vehicle back before we were finally able to leave.
To say this is a company that works primarily for disabled people, not one degree of empathy for my condition was shown in all the time we were waiting and the seats provided offered no comfort whatsoever. It will now take me weeks to get back to the point where I can go out again. So in short, the equipment is great and the service is I will say poor as I want this to be shared but I’m sure you get the point! The weak sorry we received will not reverse the damage caused by this entirely unprofessional approach.
