Giving one star is generous

Giving one star is generous. If I could give less I would. Actually the worst company I have ever bought from online, and that includes some pretty dodgy ones from FB links. At least they sent stuff, or replied.

Order was back in January. Haven’t received items and haven’t had any replies to emails. I see replies on other reviews that say this company isn’t a scam, but with no delivery and no reply there isn’t any other way to describe it really. They take money with no follow up, and seemingly no integrity. Time and time again. Sounds like a scam to me.

I ordered a brass cleaning product from Batley DIY about 7 weeks ago and have still not received it. I have tried calling and emailing numerous times with no response. I don't like writing these reviews (in fact have never done so before) but I sent an email warning them that I would be writing one, 2 weeks ago, and still nothing. I see from some previous negative reviews that they respond after the review. Well that's too late I'm afraid. The damage to your reputation is done. I recommend you DO NOT ORDER from this company they have stolen my money

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY

I ordered some kitchen knives on 16/11/25 and they have been dispatched and despite an occasional response stating that they would issue a refund it has never been done. The majority of the time I just don’t get a response other than a standard response acknowledging my email saying they will be in touch. I still have never received a refund.

Cheap prices, zero service, no delivery, no communication

I placed Order #55782 on 14 January 2026 for four Pest-Stop Pre Baited Snap Traps. £15.24 (including shipping and VAT) was taken immediately.

No dispatch confirmation was received.

After chasing via the website contact form, I received a reply on 21 January apologising for “delivery issues” and stating the order would hopefully be dispatched by the end of that week.

It was not dispatched.

I sent further emails on 29 January and 10 February requesting a clear update and confirmed dispatch date. Neither email received a response.

I also telephoned the published contact number multiple times. The calls were not answered and there is no facility to leave a message.

More than a month after payment was taken:
• No goods delivered
• No dispatch confirmation
• No refund
• No communication

Taking payment without supplying goods and then failing to respond to repeated contact attempts is unacceptable. I am now pursuing recovery of the payment.

The prices on their website may look attractive, but the lack of fulfilment and complete absence of customer service has been extremely disappointing.

If you choose to order from this company, be aware that low prices mean very little if the goods never arrive and your attempts to contact them go unanswered.

I would strongly advise prospective customers to read the reviews carefully before placing an order.

This company are scumbags...Yep they…

This company are scumbags...Yep they tried to do it to me to. I managed to get my bank to refund me via my direct debit card, so was lucky. I would advise everyone who has been scammed to do the same.
It's unbelievable in more ways than one as its theft and yet nothing happens and no consequences... If I took something without paying for it I would have a criminal record, so how do these bogus companies get away with it.
