If you’re looking for high-quality, timeless pieces and want to support a family-owned business that truly cares about design and their customers, I cannot recommend Batten Home enough! The customer service is nothing like the bigger sites. They are quick to answer any questions, making the whole process feel personal rather than just another online transaction.

It took two weeks for them to ship the product I ordered. I did not realize that I had a previous bad experience with them almost three years ago. Shame on me for going back. Will not happen again.

I usually dont go out of my way to post about an experience but this one was hard to not recognize. Shaan's customer service was the best experience I've ever had. I was considering buying from a family owned store vs. DWR and chose to go with Batten Home. DWR would've never given me the warmth, sincerity, and attentiveness that Batten Home was able to provide, and the String Furniture is both beautiful to look at and reminds me that I bought from a really great company. 5/5 would recommend you buy from here.

Poor communication and terrible customer service..I've tried 4x to get pre-authorized for a return before their 7 day return policy window runs out. No replies. I'm just going ahead and shipping it back. If they hit me with a restocking fee because the return wasnt pre-authorized I'll dispute it with my VISA card. I won't buy from them again. Their "quick ship" took me 6 weeks to receive my item. When I contacted them about this I was told it had been delayed. Well,I guess so,but couldn't they have contacted me?

i ordered a skagerak cutter bench and got a shipped notification the same day. 3 days later it was at my doorstep beautifully packed in perfect condition. love!
