Eleanor was fantastic never had such a thorough yet relaxed eye test. Eleanor is so passionate about making sure nothing is missed, explains everything, not rushed & obviously loves her job. Also the welcome from the charming manager made a change from feeling you are just a number. And air con! So glad I decided to go instead of driving miles back to where I used to live. I thoroughly recommend anyone to try Bayfields amazing treatment & no pressure to buy but I did as frames etc very affordable. Although part of a chain the service is very personal and you are made to feel welcome & any concerns are listened to with genuine interest and care. Fantastic place

The Bayfields Team are very welcoming, the technical side of the appointment is getting better by the year as new equipment becomes available, and the optometrist explains everything with great care and gives very measured and honest assessments. There's no railroading anywhere in the process, and you come away knowing that you have made good, well-informed choices

Great service, know their customers, help with pointing out good offers. As a glaucoma patient I feel confident about my treatment and regular testing. I am also grateful for the team’s ability to help with repairs for favourite frames.
