Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 44 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported issues with payment systems, where machines would confirm payment but not provide receipts, or online systems would decline payments despite available funds. This often led to receiving penalty notices weeks later, even when proof of payment was available. Reviewers also found the appeal process problematic, with appeals being ignored, denied with generic responses, or requiring customers to pay fines to avoid higher charges while waiting for a resolution. Some people were dissatisfied with the pricing, finding charges disproportionate for minor overstays or for parking in locations where they believed they had valid permits. Additionally, customers experienced poor response times from customer service, with calls going unanswered and emails being ghosted, especially when trying to resolve payment or appeal issues.

Predatory, unfair and illegitimate.

Bay Century Solutions operate in a way that feels deliberately unfair and predatory.

I paid for parking in full, for the correct car park, on the correct date, at the correct time. I have the receipt to prove it. There was no loss of revenue to the landowner and no attempt to avoid payment.

Due to a technical issue, the system selected the wrong licence plate without my knowledge. Despite clear evidence that parking was paid for, Bay Century Solutions refused to apply any common sense or discretion. Their response made it clear that they are not interested in fairness, only in extracting money through rigid technicalities.

This is not parking management, it is revenue generation dressed up as enforcement. Penalising someone who has paid, caused no loss, and can prove it, shows a complete lack of integrity and customer awareness.

If you value transparency, reasonableness, or proportionality, be very cautious. Based on my experience, this company prioritises penalties over facts and process over fairness.

⭐ Title: Extremely Poor Service, Unfair Practices, and Zer

Title: Extremely Poor Service, Unfair Practices, and Zero Accountability

My experience with BaySentry Solutions has been absolutely terrible. In my opinion, this is one of the most frustrating and unprofessional parking management companies I’ve ever dealt with. I contacted them by email and they told me it would take up to 28 days to get a response. Instead of addressing the issue, they continued sending reminder notices and increasing the charge, even though I was still waiting for their reply.

It feels like they completely ignore customer communication, and their customer service is essentially nonexistent. The delays, the lack of support, and the automated reminders all make the process incredibly stressful and unfair.

Based on my experience, I would strongly warn anyone about dealing with this company. Their handling of parking charges and appeals is slow, unhelpful, and in my view, very consumer-unfriendly. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

Who owns Baysentry

Who owns Baysentry? Complete scammers!!! It is suggested you appeal online as they don't pick up phone calls. They acknowledged my appeal with a reference number. Said they would respond within 28 days. No response from them. Next I hear they have instructed debt collectors dcbl and increased fine to £170. I had clear proof of payment but it was not acknowledged by Baysentry. DCBL informed me they can do nothing about it apart from threaten me with a high court bailiff action if dont make the payment. Certainly Baysentry should be reported to trading standards and tv consumer programmes. I won't leave this to rest! The terrible thing is all the reviews are awful. The Chief Operating Officer of Baysentry solutions, JOHN STEVEN GAUTRY should be ashamed.

terrible experiance

absolutely terrible experience with these snakes of a company. parked the car and it says free parking for disable people so I didn't have to pay. I display my badge and I left as normal and got a letter after a few days. I message them and showed my badge they eventually suggested to appeal the case which I did and they went quiet within the 14 days.

I was nervous because after 14 days I need to pay £100 so I message them to chase up on the appeal they simply ghosted until i was left with no choice but to pay a £60 charge to prevent the £100 after the time. Calling them was a waste of time, no one picks up I message them and suddenly they respond that i have to wait 28 days especially after payment.

I message them again and surprise surprise they respond email saying its been solved because I paid and this no longer need to go ahead. they break their policy rules and use tactics to ignore your emails and don't pick up the phone even I have a valid point on this they simply conning the public using their services in parking. they have to be investigated.

Wish i could give a negative rating

Wish i could give a negative rating , as they are pathetically worse !! Not been able to provide a permit since 1week, no customer support. You call them and it goes to voicemail stating no.agent is available....throughout the day !! Rubbish !!
Then there is a threat of fine which forces you to pay £12.5 for each night as a visitor parking despite living there !! Take ages to approve a simple request ....Pathetic!!!

Fraudulent Company

They are scammers — a fraudulent company.
I have received seven parking fines even though I am a member of PureGym Manchester Urban Exchange.
Every time I go to the gym, I register my car on the parking tablet inside the gym as required, yet they claim that I did not register my vehicle.

I always made sure to register it every single time.
People should be careful with this company — it’s a scam.
When you register your car, there should be an option to enter your phone number and receive a confirmation message, so you can have proof that your registration was successful.
This is clearly a dishonest system.

Thieves

I received two PCNs despite having clear screenshots proving I attempted to pay through the CitiPark app. The app repeatedly failed to recognise my vehicle or calculate the correct payment, saying there was “no active parking session.” I’ve used CitiPark regularly for years with no issues, so I know how their system normally works — this was not user error.

My appeal included timestamped screenshots and a detailed explanation, yet I received a generic rejection stating their systems were working fine, with no indication that anyone had actually reviewed the evidence. It felt completely automated and dismissive.

It’s unacceptable to be penalised for an app failure that was out of my control. Ignoring clear proof undermines any sense of fairness or accountability. I will not be using CitiPark locations again and strongly advise others to keep screenshots of every payment attempt — you may need them.

Baysentry a digraceful

Here's a legally sound, sharply worded review that expresses disbelief and frustration without crossing any lines.

Baysentry Solutions – A Masterclass in Overreach
Whitehall riverside leeds
Received a £100 PCN for stopping 2 minutes and 20 seconds—just 21 seconds over the stated grace limit. No parking, no obstruction, no warning. Just a camera, a stopwatch, and a fine that feels more like revenue generation than regulation.

Appeal submitted and ignored. No meaningful reply. Just generic, pre-written responses that ignored the substance of the challenge. No confirmation, no timeline for reduced payment, no proper procedure followed. Communications were dismissive, automated indifference.

This isn’t about safety or traffic flow—it’s about monetising milliseconds. The charge is disproportionate, the process opaque, and the outcome predetermined.

If this is enforcement, it’s enforcement without fairness. Proceed with caution.

Profiteering from Parking Fines

I am very disappointed in the response to my appeal as parking was paid for but your system is claiming that I overstayed by 50 minutes and you are charging me £60 for the privilege. In any other industry or walk of life this would be illegal (it borders on organised crime activity) and is definite profiteering. On top of that if I appeal again there is a chance that I have to pay even more, that is morally bankrupt and terrible 'bullying' activity.

Stay away- do not use their car parks scam company

Stay away! This company scams for more money. I have tried to pay the £60 numerous times and constantly get a declined payment notice when there is money in the bank and nothing wrong with my cards. It seems they do it to charge you more. I have taken screen shots which I suggest you all do if attempt to pay. Email them with the date so you have evidence . From the reviews this is happening to many people and the company should be investigated. I am going to log a complaint so that this company can be investigated. Absolute disgrace!!!
