Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 44 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported issues with payment systems, where machines would confirm payment but not provide receipts, or online systems would decline payments despite available funds. This often led to receiving penalty notices weeks later, even when proof of payment was available. Reviewers also found the appeal process problematic, with appeals being ignored, denied with generic responses, or requiring customers to pay fines to avoid higher charges while waiting for a resolution. Some people were dissatisfied with the pricing, finding charges disproportionate for minor overstays or for parking in locations where they believed they had valid permits. Additionally, customers experienced poor response times from customer service, with calls going unanswered and emails being ghosted, especially when trying to resolve payment or appeal issues.

Worst parking company

Worst parking company.
I received a fine because someone made an admin error in permit distribution. While being legally permitted to park, they would not wave the fine.

Out to catch you

Out to catch you. Registered my car with the building reception team just like the signage tells you to, just completely ignore your appeal and tell you to take it to court knowing you won't bother. Give you a number to call that never gets answered. Emails don't get responded to. Just ignore you and keep putting up the fine. Dishonest, unlawful thieves.

Money Grabbers

Money Grabbers. Trustpilot would not allow zero stars. This company is a sham. What ever your appeal is, it will be rejected as it knows you would not take the appeal further. The signage did not have a location number so how can you get a ticket!!! Yes I have paid but I hope this company is taken to court.

Scam

Received a letter from this company kindly inviting me to pay a charge for entering a car park in London. Myself or the vehicle in question have not been in London. The car was parked on my home driveway over 450 miles away from where they stated, it didn't even move off the driveway, let alone be used to drive over 8 hours away! Total scam.

Scam Company

I went to their Rickmansworth CityPark location and was forced to download their own application. After I paid for parking with their application for the amount they requested me to pay, the application did confirm that I had paid for the day (no hour limit). That should be it, but no, then I've received a threatening letter from this company with a fine of £100. They have a pseudo internal "appeal" process but your appeal will be rejected even if you correctly paid for parking. A complete scam, avoid. Check other independent reviews online for "Rickmansworth CityPark" and you will be able to confirm this.

Tantamount to a criminal organisation

Tantamount to a criminal organisation. Extorting money out of people for parking. I parked at a car park in Leeds and asked an attendant how to pay, they told me to do so by the app which I did. I was then hit with a £60 fine for not paying the correct amount. I appealed but that was dismissed. I would genuinely seek out their car parks and avoid parking in them. They are just money making schemes.

Bunch of crooks

Bunch of crooks. Got parking ticket from them. Parked in same car park twice in one day, ten hours apart. Took picture of car entering in the morning, then said the second picture of me leaving was from the same parking session 10 hours later. Utter bunch of charlatans

Absolutely poor service from baysentry

Absolutely poor service from baysentry. Paid for my parking permit and received 5 fines, half expecting to receive more fines. Spoke to a lady this morning on the phone and she point blank refused to help me and just said to appeal online not explain why I had a fine to even begin with. As I am worried about why I am receiving £500 worth of fines and I got told she cannot even give me any understanding on this. Asked her to help me with appealing online and the same lady refused. Find it incredibly poor, will make sure no one goes with baysentry.

Disgusting

Illegally charged for parking site that worked on an auto-generated fee at the end of the session, claiming I didn't pay enough! Appealed the charge and lost as they've provided a payment solution for a different parking site that requires you to pay upfront. Couldn't make the payment as their website kept giving an error and didn't want to process the payment. Contacted their useless customer services explained the problem, provided a recording of me trying to make the payment and showing the website had an issue, which resolved in them sending my details to a bailiff! Disgusting doesn't cover their way of robbing people in daylight!

I am a resident where baysentry has…

I am a resident where baysentry has been employed, my permit had fallen not being visible and I have been fined £60 this was enforced after I signed my tenancy agreement, I have not provided any written agreement that I must provide a permit to park in my allocated space. I will be taking matters further if they insist I must pay. a very corrupt system.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. Be aware of their parking spaces the apps they use are very unclear as well as signs in the car parks. I parked in Manchester via CitiPark app where there’s no clear statement that you HAVE TO PAY ON departure as well as arrival. There’s no clear signs on Parking or app. System to scam people of money. Avoid and avoid. Don’t waste your time calling customer service as it will be easier to talk to the wall. Reading reviews online on this company it’s clear to see that it’s just scamming company.

This company will reject any appeal…

This company will reject any appeal just be careful. They will reject any claim despite any evidence you provide. Use Popla to raise a dispute again them it is a free service offered by the ombudsman and they will get the majority of the fines removed. Not sure how they are legally allowed to operate. They are a disgusting service provider.

I will leave my name as I have nothing to hide.

I will add a clear example of me being a member of the gym and have free 2 hours parking and still they rejected my appeal 😂
