In Beauty and style Aarhus has a very nice atmosphere and a good service. Even though im not speaking danish, everyone is very helpful and I’m always getting the best result !!

MY SKIN LOOKES REALLY GOOD AND HEALTHY. I WOULD RECOMAND THAT YOU COME AND TRY BEAUTY AND STYLE SCHOOL IN COPENHAGEN . THE STUDENTA AND THE TEACHERS WERE NICE AND GIVE ALOT OF ADVICES.

I had a great experience at Beauty and Style. I was greeted warmly by the lovely Helle and she spoke to me in great English. I really appreciated these efforts as my Danish is embarrassingly lacking.

My hair was cut by Narmin who was thorough and clearly very competent. I was expecting to be in the chair for a long time as I have experienced in other training salons in the past that you can sit there for hours on end. She cut my hair in great time and was clear attention to detail. This was checked over by the teacher Helle at the end to make sure it was perfect.

The effort in making sure I was happy with the cut was amazing and the whole team were completely warm friendly and accommodating and the prices are competitive too! Would highly recommend.

I went in today and got highlights and a hair cut. Majse did a wonderful job and I love the way she made my hair look. She was friendly and knowledgable and did a professional job. I will definitely return because the is the best my hair has ever looked.
The instructor, Helle, was so warm and kind and made sure everything was perfect. She gave advice about the treatment I should choose which was very honest and helpful.
I enjoyed my time so much at the salon today!!

The beauty procedures in Copenhagen are rather expensive and that's why it's nice to have this beauty school in Copenhagen with more price conscious options. Considering that there are primarily students working there, the quality has mostly been very good.

I usually cut my hair at another school and what I like the most about it is the quality check: the student cuts my hair and the teacher checks, corrects, teaches. And I am not allowed to leave if I'm not satisfied. Well, this was my level of expectation.
But that's not the case here. There is no teacher around, so if the students are not good enough there are no consequences and also no learning process for them.
I have been there twice for a pedicure (6 July and 16 August), and the second time was really to give a second chance to the place.
This was what happened:
For starters, removing hard skin: it’s something they have to do but don't really know how to. Half the hard skin was not removed at all, and instead of leaving my feet smooth, they are rougher than when I came in. I have never experienced something alike.
The massage: the first time I was there I got a REALLY GOOD massage on my feet and legs (the true reason why I gave the place a second chance). The second time, not really. It was good, but way too short.
The nails painting: this was the ultimate disaster. And the reason why I call it disaster is because I, myself, the clumsiest person on earth, am able to paint nails better than them. The nail polish did not do them any favors, but I would have appreciated if they would have said “this nail polish is too old and thick, I’m sorry, can you choose another?”, instead of putting 4 layers (!!!) just to get a uniform color – not counting the top coat, obviously. The worst was that when I got home and looked at it again the color was still not uniform at all. I just want to remove it and put it myself. What a waste of time and money.
The cherry on top was:
I had another appointment for the following day (17 August). 4 hours before they call me to cancel it (due to sickness, which is understandable), and when I asked if they could offer me another time they just said no. No. I have never in my life had an appointment cancelled from a hair salon/manicure/doctor/physiotherapist without having a suggestion for re-booking for another time. It’s called customer service.
For me, this was it.
“You get what you pay for”. No. I paid for having a student, not a professional, doing me a pedicure. I paid for the pedicure to take longer than if it was done by a professional. I paid for being in a school instead of a nail salon.
I did not pay for bad service.
