Begbies Traynor Group is a very genuine company. Mike Sharp really helped me understand the problem and provided the right solution. I had spoken to a few other companies about the liquidation of my company, but none of them seemed reasonable. Therefore, I strongly recommend Begbies Traynor Group.

Paul Wood, Neil Vinnicombe and Simon Haskew are excellent advisors to companies, individuals, boards, owners, creditors and other business stakeholders, each having a huge wealth of professional experience to draw upon.

They are understanding, commercial, professional and personable and often find innovative (solvent) solutions to problems and/or ways to mitigate losses, as well as recovering substantial amounts for creditors.

In December 2025 as part of a 2 man crew I will be taking part in the Worlds Toughest Row - Atlantic. This involves rowing 3000 miles from La Gomera ( Canary Islands) to Antigua. We are raising money for two Charities Maggie's and Friends of Alfie Martin. To complete an expedition of this nature we need corporate sponsorship. I'm really thankful to Mike for helping me close my company. I was receiving numerous letters from HMRC and creditors about tax and VAT that I couldn't handle. I couldn't even sleep at night until I found the Begbies-Traynor website. I was unsure and embarrassed to talk about my financial problems, but I called them anyway.

From the start, Mike made me feel less worried. He explained my options in a way I could understand, which helped me a lot when everything was confusing. Even though I didn't have much money, Begbies-Traynor allowed me to repay them in a way I could afford. I couldn’t even use their services if that wasn’t the case and they understood that.

On the same day, I was able to stop paying my debts and the people I owed money to stopped bothering me with horrible letters. Mike's help saved me from losing all my money and allowed me to feel calm again so I could move on.

I would recommend anyone who has the same problems to use Mike's services. He is intelligent, professional, caring, and understanding. I hope I don't encounter these problems again, but if my family or friends do, I would tell them to call Mike. Thanks to him, I don't owe anyone money now and I can start fresh with more confidence and security.

At this point in time BT's ratings are either 1 star or 5 star. Nothing in between!
It's funny how BT's customers give them 1 star and organisations that BT sponsor, train or work with give them 5 stars.
I'm dealing with BT as an investor in FRE PLC and they have been awful. They have approached that piece of work from the 'maximising profit' angle, with little regard for the FRE investors. Communication with investors in FRE has been, at best poor, and largely non-existent.
Call me cynical, but it appears that given the number of dismal 1 star reviews they have received, BT has found it necessary to rally colleagues in other firms and allied companies to give them glowing reviews.

I had to put my company into Liquidation, a VERY stressful time for me. Never done this before, I contacted UK Liqudators. I got a great service from them. I dealt with Elizabeth Gatehouse, she was BRILLIANT, put my mind at rest, answered all my questions, can’t say enough about her, nothing was to much trouble. If you are ever in my position phone Elizabeth, make sure she deals with you. Thanks Elizabeth for everything. First class service. You are a real asset to the company.

BT told me they were here to represent my case and achieve the best possible outcome. Still, from that moment in late 2023 to hearing nothing about progress towards fulfilling that outcome, I have come to mistrust BT's intentions for this small group of honest investors. It's such a disappointment!

The arrogance in their communication style and the excessive fees applied for mere update requests have made me realise how one can become so focused on one's success that one needs to remember whose funds have and continue to help push their brand forward.
