I first used this company a couple of years ago and was very impressed. The cleaner was here for about 40 minutes, was up and down his ladders numerous times along the house, used my hosepipe to make sure the downspouts were running freely and finally explained to me what he had done. Excellent, and happy to use them again.

This time the man literally climbed his ladder once each side of the house, presumably had a look and left without saying anything. I’ve no idea if anything was removed from the gutters or if the downspouts are clear, neither will he as his ladder never went anywhere near the downspouts. I guess he was here 10 minutes at the most. Only a guess as it was only after I went out to offer him a cup of tea I found that he’d gone

The positives, communication is good from the company and the guy arrived within the time window specified. Won’t be using again

Edit. As requested I sent an e mail to customer services and, credit where it’s due, I received a phone call from the company not long after. They explained that the cleaning guy had checked the gutters and found them to be clear of debris. He took some pictures and then left. All he had needed to do was let me, the customer, know what was happening instead of just leaving. The company apologised and offered to send the guy back again to check the downspouts so I can’t fault Bens Gutters except for suggesting some staff training on customer service.

I can highly recommend Ben's Gutters for gutter-cleaning. Ryan P was very professional, efficient, friendly and thorough. He showed me images of the gutters once cleaned and also went up on a ladder to remove broken roof tiles that had fallen into one of the gutters. Excellent work.

As always I am very happy with the work especially the conservatory roof. The admin side is efficient and Kamil did a good job and was very polite and tidy.

Corneliu arrive at 9am and was very pleasant and polite from the start. I did feel sorry for him as it was cold and the rain never stopped, however this did not deter him. He did a great job of cleaning the gutters and washing the facings. When he had finished he showed me photos of before and after, my goodness I was shocked. He did a fantastic job, no mess at all. I thought Bens gutters were a local company as they put, what looks like a hand written note through the door, they are not, it is a national company. I did not realise this and rang for a quote. I was quoted over £200 for one service and £100 plus for the cheaper one. However they requested the money up front and asked for my bank details, which I refused. I have never known this to happen. I did a bit of research, and discovered that they are well known for their exorbitant rates! I have had my gutters cleaned perfectly and professionally for £50, quite a difference. I cannot comment on their work, but I think people should be wary

From the first contact to Ben’s Gutters, everything was very quick and easy. Booked within an hour, fair price for work and kept informed. Gareth arrived promptly and was very warm and friendly. He explained what he would be doing and checked it was all ok with me. Great customer service and would thoroughly recommend.

This company has always been great in the past. This time, however, they had not even sent the promised invoice when their accounts department was on the phone demanding my credit card numbers, this being only a number of hours after the job had taken place. Very sharp practice.
