….just a short message to say thank you…

….just a short message to say thank you to BEON. Although I didn’t end up receiving the goods I purchased (overly well subscribed) I did receive a phone call from the company offering a choice of other products or a refund…on this occasion I chose a refund…paid in full including the postage amount.

Wonderful products, exceptional customer support

There are two parts to our story with Beon.

Some of the original items we ordered were out of stock, with an indefinite window as to when they would be back in stock. Atal from customer support rang and worked through options with us with patience and care to identify some alternatives that actually enhanced our dinner setting.

Then when the products arrived, a number of items were damaged in transport, and again Atal was prompt, caring and responsive in ensuring replacements were secured and shipped within days.

Truly wonderful support that made all the difference (and the products we purchased are equally excellent).

Very good communication from staff who…

Very good communication from staff who genuinely cared when my original choice of mirror was no longer available. They quickly refunded my money and followed up. Of course, I ordered another mirror and it was great. They even threw in a free gift for my inconvenience!

Ordered item as a gift

Ordered item as a gift. Heard nothing after initial payment confirmation. Messaged BEON after waiting 10 days to find out item hadn’t even been shipped as they had no stock and were waiting on their supplier. Customer service non existent and unable to be apologetic with any self awareness of the route issue and instead passing blame onto supply chain. Won’t be shopping here again. Not forthcoming with updates after posting initial concerns over delivery. Was told item had arrived and they would ship on Tuesday (14 days post order). Had no update on Tuesday so chased up again myself to find it hadn’t been shipped at all. Asked for refund at this point. Terrible service. Still awaiting any sort of email confirmation of refund now and customer service gone radio silent and not responding. Never again.

Nice to deal with a genuinely local…

Nice to deal with a genuinely local business. And I know it is, because I had to get help several times before and after. I ordered some hand made Japanese pottery because they had by far the best pricing. We did discover that most things I ordered were on back order because they come from Japan (they even arrive still wrapped in Japanese newspaper which I loved!). They shipped what was in stock and I chose to wait for the others. It was taking a while, naturally, but once I decided I didn't want to wait more, the seller got on face time with me to help me pick out some others I could get right now and they were here two days later even being interstate. My order definitely turned out to be a tricky one with some fiddling needed, but given the customer service I felt I could just get the help I needed instead of writing angry reviews in my drafts over snd over, which has happened too many times, and I'm really happy with the end result. Given how many online purchases have left me furious over the years this was really nice, so I thought I should lay it out for others. Yes, if you order one of a kind things from overseas artisans, either don't be in a hurry or just ask what's already on site, but don't feel like there's any risk to it because they will definitely take care of you.

Order was ignored and out of stock

Order was ignored and after following up I was told the item I had paid for was actually not in stock and with an unknown ETA for backorder. Paying for goods that are not even in stock is terrible business practice.

I ordered a gorgeous sling chair from…

I ordered a gorgeous sling chair from Beon and am a new customer. Their communication and personal attention was incredible. Increasingly now it is really difficult to find an online retailer. That’s super attentive but my experience with Beon was really different. It felt super personal and like my purchase was appreciated. I highly highly highly recommend them and the product is fantastic. ❤️

I recently ordered the Litter Robot-4…

I recently ordered the Litter Robot-4 after much deliberation with the high cost of this equipment but after searching through the Internet, this is the only site that has a discount. Not only that, during the ordering stage, Atal from Customer Service (via Online Chat) are so amazing helpful, taking the time to answer my questions and share the understanding that this is a very high cost equipment, not just trying to make a sale. After ordering, Atal even provided a mobile number to contact (where do you get that these days!!! WOW! that is what I can a real customer service. To cut the story short, when it arrives yesterday and I tried to get it to work and couldn't and sent her a desparate text for help. I thought, well, it is almost 7pm on a Friday, I won't be getting a response back now till Monday, I have to moved the LR4 out and put back the old litter box.... sigh! BUT winthin seconds, I got a text back for the helpline and after browsing through the information, I manage to get it work and now my cats are using it! What a win again, what a SERVICE again from Atal. Thank you, you have no idea how much I appreciated that help there. Thank you again! Highly recommended this site to anyone!

Wonderful service & beautiful Japanese cups

What wonderful service! I was buying online and had some questions and Atal at Beon was so helpful. My beautiful handcrafted Japanese cups are perfect and arrived very quickly & wrapped up safely. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you & I will definitely shop again.

Superb range of curated products

Superb range of curated products. Perfect place to treat yourself, and be inspired. Service and response time is exceptional.

I am shocking at thinking of gifts for friends and family - but, spend 5 minutes browsing BEON and I always find that perfect thing. It takes the stress out of gifting and makes me look like I actually planned ahead!! ;)

Still not sure if it is a legitimate business...

First ordered from this site in October 2024. Received an order confirmation but nothing further for 2 weeks. I initiated contact to ask for the shipping status only to then be informed some of the items were not in stock. This was not communicated in the storefront, during checkout or even in the order confirmation. I cancelled the order then and there as this was as a gift and they couldn't provide a solid ETA.
I ordered from them again about a month later as the event had passed and it was now feasible to wait an acceptable amount of time. I was told the items only take "a few weeks" from Japan. After 2 months I still hadn't received anything and requested an update. I was told my order would be dispatched either that day or early the next day. The following day I received a phonecall informing me they still didn't have my items and couldn't provide an ETA. I then pressed them on why the items were still available on their website with no indication that they were not only out of stock but with no ETA either. I was told their main customers were hospitality businesses who ordered large quantities and were happy to wait 6 months for products - the latter of which I find hard to believe.
They then said they would refund my order. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is that on both occasions refunds were received in full.
