While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Out of Business (review course folded)

This is a sad case of COVID fallout. Before the pandemic, this was the best in-person review course in the nation. Once switching to an online course in April 2020, it remained strong, because their best in-person teachers taught their online classes. Unfortunately, the staff turned over in 2021 and now they are closing their course business. As of January 2022, TBR will only sell books and online exams. For a review of those products, consult SDN, reddit, or Yelp.

Books 5-Stars; Online Exams 2.5-Stars

The hardcopy books were very helpful and challenging, but was disappointed by how poor the online practice exams were. The only helpful, representative section was CPS. The BIO section was so-so, and the PSY/SOC section asked CARS-like questions, such as “what was the author’s main point?” which is not very representative of the PSY/SOC section based on AAMC materials provided. Definitely recommend the books, but would skip on the online exams unless you have the money to spare.
