In english, because Berlin is highly visited by foreign guests, and berlin.de is NOT a tour operator, it´s the official website of the city of Berlin.

I am in Berlin every 4-6 weeks. I come by train mostly, the main train station is a big and crowded facility, but nicely operated with many shops, restaurants, and clean and safe. In Berlin itself I never felt insecure, all places I visited on business or leisure trips are safe even in the deeper night. I like Alexanderplatz and the vicinity, and of course all places at the river Spree. E.g. when you leave the main train station direction Bundestag you go right into a nice park environment 2 minutes behind the station.

Of course Berlin has a lot of homeless people sleeping in tents on the street, as many cities have nowadays, please drop an Euro from time to time in the cups which stand there. The only bad thing are beggar gangs on the exits of the main train station, don´t give them any money.

And Berlin is of course the capital of Techno music. So many clubs especially on weekends. Go to the smaller ones like M-Bia (Techno/Proggy/GOA) on a Saturday, no problems to get in. Go to Kitkat and respect the dress code (which is quite relaxed on most days, but please no Jeans or just underpants, dress a little more creative and you get in except on some very special events), go to Berghain (here the door is strict, if they say NO if the club is full or when you don´t match the profile of this evening´s guests don´t be angry, don´t discuss and try it again on some other day, and go to one of the many other places then). And please avoid drugs and take care of your drinks as you should do in every club around the world.

I like Berlin.

Der Kundenservice in Berlin ist absolut perfekt - tadellos tadellos auf höchstem Niveau! Die Leute sprechen das allerbeste Englisch. Sie sind äußerst professionell, höflich, freundlich, diszipliniert, akribisch, geduldig, positiv! Sowohl die Manager als auch das Personal zeigen die allerbeste Körpersprache/Gesichtsgesten: einladend und herzlich! Fazit: Die Führungskräfte/Mitarbeiter sind in jeder Hinsicht absolut perfekt!

The customer service in Berlin, Germany is absolutely perfect-impeccably flawless/immaculate to the very highest degree! People speak the very best English. They are extremely professional, polite, friendly, disciplined, meticulous, patient, positive! Both the managers and staff display the very best body language/facial gestures: welcoming and warm! In conclusion, the managers/staff are absolutely perfect to the very highest degree in every single sense!

We ordered a surround system. It was weeks late: oke can happen. Than we finally got the package it came in 2 boxes, sepperated. So we had to wait an other few days to have it all. Than we installed it (without a guide so we had to figure it out our selfs) than we finally managed: 1 box out of order but they couldnt send a new one or not even a new thread. Then we wanted it to get picked up because we didnt want it anymore: no you have to bring it to a postoffice yourself (we live in a tiny village, no car) so we had to carry the boxes allll the way to the post office and it was f**king heavy. BAD SERVICE BAD BAD BAD DONT BUY FROM THEM

I travelled to different city and found their site. It saved my time to look up info that I need such as hotel and locations. They do provide helpful info on their site.

Anyway, it's good for Germans. Not really for foreigner like me. You need to live in Germany to understand how things work here. Berlin.de provides info based from German viewpoint
