The change of recipe in Bernard Matthews mini kievs is not good, the creamy middle is less and tastes different along with the so called turkey which is grey and tasteless. So won't be buying this product again.

Absolutely awful taste now, why change the taste of something that tasted so nice to something that now tastes so blooming awful and not even like garlic it’s like cheap chemical processed cheese 🤷‍♀️ why and the amount of sauce is laughable which on this occasion I was greatful for. I really am gutted as all of my family absolutely loved these and they were a staple in my freezer, so disappointing, will not be buying these ever again and will never recommend them to anyone who actually likes food

Mini kievs are not even close to how they used to be. Used to be able to tell when they were ready in the oven cos 1 or 2 would start leaking the garlic and herb sauce from the middle. Now you cook them for longer and they don’t start leaking. There’s barely anything inside them. Breadcrumbs are completely different too. Why change such a staple of the brand? Doesn’t make sense. Been eating these since a kid but won’t be buying again. Sort it out BM

Not happy at all, bread crumbs are minging, would rather nyam my own batty than the inside of one of them 3D printed balls of faeces

I’m absolutely disgusted with the change of recipe. They are bland and mushy, why change something that was working!!! I was so looking forward to eating these but ended putting them in the bin. Bring back the old recipe

Tried the Bernard Matthews Kiev’s tonight and what on earth has happened to them , they used to be a quick meal family favourite, but now after trying just one out of the packet I feel physically sick , I thought maybe I’d had a dodgy packet not looking other reviews , I’m not alone. THEY NOW TASTE VILE !!! I won’t ever buy them again.

Unfortunately I purchased 3 packets of these and disposed of receipt.
These have been a personal snack favourite of mine for decades. No longer! Absolutely disgusting, total change of ingredients and finished product.
Clearly no product testing before rollout. Texture is bizarre. Finer breadcrumb that cooks up crispy to hide the mushy stuffing like meat substitute, that reminds me of a foul tasting undercooked stuffing mix. No garlic cheese filling in any. I can only imagine its soaked into the mushy substance that has replaced the turkey. They would of gone bust overnight if these were being sold when Mr Oliver was doing his best to stop us from eating products like this.
Never imagined the company would do it for him.
Shame, I loved the old version.

This change is certainly not for the better unfortunately. Nothing like the Kiev they have replaced.

Want to put -stars but I cant, what have they done to the mini Kiev?? The new ones are disgusting, and expensive and you get less? So not buying these anymore, bernard mathews food has gone down the pan

I bought the mini Kiev's and id not bought them for a while and they are absolutely disgusting! They are just like mush. Both the 'meat' and garlic sauce are tasteless. I'm really disappointed as I've always loved these but I shan't buy them again

Mini Kiev balls have been a fav of mine since childhood. They were a must have on my Xmas Buffett! They no longer resemble a Kiev and were disgusting, didn’t taste, smell or have the same texture at all! Bring back the originals restore Bernard Matthew’s to its former glory!

What have you done? A favourite of mine for over 35 years. I bought some today. Noted the packaging change, then the appearance change. The taste and texture are both awful…consistency of fish cake and tastes of mushy potato. No garlic flavour at all. Unbelievable bad. I’ll never buy them again.

They have completely ruined one of their favourite products, Mini Kievs taste absolutely disgusting now! The sauce doesn’t even taste of garlic anymore which is literally the reason people bought them in the first place🤣 I can only assume Bernard Matthews wants to go out of business if they are willing to completely drive away thousands of paying customers by making one of there most popular products completely inedible

Kiev balls were like a bushtucker trial! Should not be on the shelves masquerading as the original item we expect to be buying when theyre not! Pull from the shelves and dont put back til this abomination is back to the original recipe! Scam of a sale!

Absolutely devastated to see they have changed the recipe for the mini kievs with no warning. Thought the packaging had just had an update but the once loved family favourite for an easy tea was in the bin. Grey, tasteless mush. I knew something was wrong when the garlic sauce that usually comes pouring out of them was missing and the smell of them was non-existent. Total disappointment is an understatement.

What have you done to the mini kievs?! Used to love them - bought a pack lady week and thought just updated packaging. Nope, the actual mini Kiev recipe has been changed. Hardly any filling, stodgy and tasteless meat around it - even the breadcrumbs are more insipid and don't go crispy!
Please change them back, you have ruined them!

Son used to love these I bought some last week absolutely disgusting son refused to eat them I tired them tasted horrible no taste of garlic in them and pure mushy meat won’t be buying these again

I bought a bag each of mini kievs and drummers as my husband likes both and they’re good for a quick dinner. I hadn’t bought them for a really long time and will never be buying them again. They are now absolutely revolting . What have you done to them? Your company will be the next one to go into liquidation, mark my words. If there was a zero star rating then I would have given that as they don’t actually deserve 1 star
