Exemplary Service

I saw Jamal Satter at my first appointment and the service I received was exemplary. He was very helpful and showed me a number of different minis, as I had initially come in to see a mini Countryman, but felt it wasn’t the car for me. I came in again for a test drive and felt his manners was very personable and professional.

Appalling Service Experience at Berry Chiswick Mini

BMW Roadside Assistance took my Mini Cooper S Convertible to Berry Chiswick Mini for steering column replacement;
Work delayed by 7+ (total 11) days without explanation - despite immediate receipt of parts;
Poor advisor communication/ lack of status updates;
Car handed back absolutely filthy - roof and bodywork covered with plant material & dirt - had clearly been parked under 'blossom' trees for over a week with no intention of cleaning;
I had car valeted/ roof treated literally days before going to Berry Chiswick Mini.

Great service at Berry’s resulting in our purchasing a car

I was very impressed by the customer service received. I was able to test drive the car and had a thorough explanation from the company employee Gareth Edwards as to how it works. The showroom was clean and comfortable. The employee was very polite and friendly and patient. My only slight criticism is that there’s nowhere available to buy a snack. We were there a very long time and apart from drinks nothing was available.

After seeing my Mini Countryman on…First Class.

After seeing my Mini Countryman on line. I then spoke to a very nice person called Khurram Francis, who sent me a video of the car straight away. From then on Khurram was very helpful in every way possible, he could not do enough , making sure everything went smoothly from beginning right up to having it delivered to me as l was unable to go down to Brentford to collect. Thank you Khurram and the rest of the team. BRILLIANT.

Extremely poor experience with Berry Chiswick MINI – Approved Used purchase

My experience purchasing an Approved Used MINI Countryman from Berry Chiswick MINI was not only disappointing but profoundly stressful for my family and me. It fell far below the standards I would expect from the MINI brand.

On 10 October 2025, I agreed to purchase a MINI Countryman with cash. The sales manager, Neil, requested a £1,000 deposit and confirmed that the remaining balance must be paid by 16 October, the agreed collection date. I was also instructed to arrange car insurance before the collection date, which I did.

On 16 October, when I arrived at the dealership to collect the car, I was kept waiting for over two hours before being told that the vehicle could not be released due to a “minor issue.” I was not informed of this in advance, despite the issue clearly existing before my arrival. I was assured it would be resolved quickly and that I would be able to collect the car the following day.

In reality, the situation dragged on for months. The car was not declared ready for collection until 29 December. Throughout this time, the uncertainty and lack of information placed my family and me under ongoing stress, as we tried to make arrangements without knowing when or even if this ordeal would end. Communication from the dealership was poor and inconsistent, and timelines were repeatedly changed, leaving me unsure when I would receive the vehicle.

Despite having paid the full purchase price, the dealership manager, Georgina Peddle, refused to provide the ownership documents (V5S slip). Because I could not prove ownership, my insurer cancelled my policy and withheld £591. When I raised this issue with Georgina, she refused to reimburse the loss and responded dismissively, suggesting I pursue the matter legally if I wished.

Shortly before I was finally told the car was ready for collection, I received an email demanding an additional £995, allegedly outstanding from the original purchase. I provided bank statements clearly showing that the full amount had been paid. I was then told that the payment had been made via a “different link” and could not be located. This explanation is deeply concerning, as I used only the single payment link provided by the dealership at the time of purchase.

The lack of transparency, poor record-keeping, prolonged delays, and refusal to release documents after full payment resulted in significant financial loss, stress, and inconvenience. After months of conflicting information and unresolved issues, my confidence in both the dealership and the vehicle itself is extremely low. What should have been a straightforward Approved Used purchase turned into a horrible experience and the prospect of legal action.

Super-helpful body-shop people at Berry Chiswick

The people at Berry Chiswick (the 6 Shield Drive location), especially the guys in the body-shop dept, were brilliantly helpful when my Mini had a fault that made it nearly undriveable. They offered to look at it immediately (in contrast to other London Mini dealers I spoke to) and were quick to give me solutions. They delivered on everything - timing and costs - and were super-helpful throughout.

A good experience.

With apologies for the late posting, this is a shout-out to Gareth Edwards who was exceedingly responsive, friendly and helpful throughout the buying process for a replacement vehicle following the write-off of the previous Mini. Then again a month or so later for immediately helping when a problem unexpectedly arose. All credit to him and the dealership for a very positive and quick response. Well done.

We recently bought a new Mini from…

We recently bought a new Mini from Mizanur at Berry Chiswick. We had a great experience - Mizanur was very responsive and easy to deal with, resulting in a very smooth process.

Georgina was also excellent and very quick to sort out some additional policies we purchased.

I wouldn’t come here again

Are you looking for good customer service?
Then don’t come here. They have an air of contempt towards customers and treat you as such. You’re in our showroom looking at our cars so we don’t have to put ourselves out approach. If the car goes to the workshop then you’re in for a long wait as the right & left hand don’t communicate, so you’re questioning is answered by best guess work.
I’d never shop here again, lesson learned

Even tough they have sold new car to me…

Even tough they have sold new car to me but battery needs to be chaged warning i have got. What worse is that noone can reply to me what i need to do. I give my word and i ll never buy a mini anymore afterwards. They dot deserve a loyal customer

I rarely give negative reviews but ...

I rarely give negative reviews but this is a warning if you think about buying a new car from this retailer. A month ago we went to buy a new Mini, cash buyers, all quite simple. Got a price in the showroom, were asked to make an urgent £1000 deposit to secure the car which we did and went home. Later that day we received a contract with a price more than £2k higher ( luckily we took a picture of the offer in the showroom for our records! ). With the salesperson away for the week we were told by a manager that this was a misunderstanding or a mistake. But when we called another retailer the price we got was the original price quoted to us in the showroom!. We contacted the manager again with no real result and decided to simply buy elsewhere. Having not signed the contract we were told a refund will take 5 -7 working day. Almost a month later there is no sign of any refund. What we do have all sort of excuses, apologies, explanations, promises and "misunderstandings" both in writing and over multiple calls. At the end we will probably get the refund (with or without a need to take legal action), but the wasted time and energy! This is really one place to avoid buying a car from, you simply can't trust a word they say.

Buying a Mini Countryman

During our journey to Chiswick we received a video from Neil showing the car and said he would see us at 3 pm Our appointment was 2 pm When we arrived to view the car on offer we were met by Georgina the sales manager who was very welcoming and we were told that Neil who would be dealing with us was currently with a customer, we were offered refreshments and waited. After one hour we spoke to Georgina again, Neil knew we were waiting but was still with a customer and would be 5 minutes, time dragged on for twenty minutes and nothing happened.
Eventually Gareth came to the rescue and we began the process of buying the vehicle, from then on everything went well, we had a test drive and decide to go ahead and purchase the vehicle. Gareth took my vehicle keys to inspect the car and we agreed a deal for the Mini, and collected it two days later. On arrival Gareth went through all the features of the Mini Countryman and explained how they worked and set up the Phone and Radio and the Mini App on my wife's phone as I do not have a smart phone.
We found Gareth very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and easy to deal with.
