The taste was absolutely delicious
The taste was absolutely delicious. The delivery time was also accurate and well organized, which I really appreciated.
However, the only issue I faced and it was quite disappointing, was that the tart arrived damaged. The edges on both sides were messy and didn’t look good specially for kid's birthday. I believe this happened becuase of the improper handling or poor storage during transportation.
I hope they improve their packaging and delivery process, because the quality of the dessert itself is really great.

No more ordering from BestelTaart
I have been ordering from this company for the past five years, and the quality of the cakes has always been great. My kids specifically asked me to order from them again because they love the Oreo Velvet Layer Cake.
However, this time the experience was disappointing and my kids were a bit upset. The glaze on top of the cake was not applied properly, and more than half of it ended up on the cardboard base that supports the cake. While the taste was still good, the appearance was terrible. It looked as if the person who prepared the cake did not pay much attention to the final result.
Since this was a birthday cake, the presentation is just as important as the taste. Unfortunately, because of this experience, this will likely be the last time I order from them.
Again, this is not meant to be a bad review, as I have had many good experiences with this company before, but I hope they will pay more attention to both quality and presentation in the future.

The taste was below average. This is 2nd time we ordered and both of cakes were not tasty at all.
It gives the perception that very low quality ingredients used despite the prices are high. We do not think to order again.

Fresh and delicious, fast delivery
We ordered 2 cakes - Frozen and Dinosaurs themed, for twins. The cakes were very fresh and arrived on time. Delicious as well. I am taking down a star because of the filling - it was the same for both cakes and we couldn't even opt for it to be different. So the only difference between the cakes was the exterior design.

Nice personalisation but the cake was tasteless
The image and the cake looked really nice, but the taste was really bad. If you want just a gift it is nice. If you want something nice to eat as well, I wouldn't recommend it.

Taking my business elsewhere
I ordered in advance and selected a delivery slot BEFORE my son's birthday. Nothing was delivered. When I called, they blamed postnl for not delivering it, and promised to deliver it with their own courier the day AFTER my son's birthday. The product received was sub-standard. I will take my business elsewhere.
