Recently placed an order for medication and got our vet to send in the prescription. They've taken the money and I've not received the desmopressin for my cat. Tried emailing, phoning, messaging ect but radio silence. Worried this business has gone under and not updated their website!

Great company! I have been using them since around 2015. I have had items shipped to UK and USA and all have arrived in good order. I would recommend Better Chemist! BTW, someone who wrote a bad review referred to this company as Better Chemistry, ha ha! It's Better Chemist, at least know the company you are making a bad review for. I think that review is a scam.

Mixed reviews about this company.

Placed an order for a prescription amounting to £600+. No confirmation order sent to my email. Submitted a form to enquire no response. Tried ringing - phone line with no response. It wasn’t until I submitted a trustpilot review that they got in touch with me.

The medicine I required was time sensitive. The drug I ordered was out of stock and the pharmacist was helpful in helping me source for an alternative. There were however delays between hearing back from them and me actually getting hold of the medication. As a result I started the medication 3 days later as a result of this delay.

In addition to that the drug was meant to be kept refrigerated. All they did on despatch was wrap it in a lunch box “keep cold” material with no ice on it. As such by the time I got my
Medicine it was already at room temperature.

Unfortunately my treatment did not work. How much this delay contributed and whether the efficacy of the medicine was affected by the temperature I will never know.

I had been a customer for over 10 years w/no problems, which is why I'm giving BetterChemist the benefit of the doubt with 2 stars instead of 1. I placed an order November 30th and had not received it one month later. I contacted BetterChemist 4 times between Dec. 31, 2024 and Jan. 2, 2025 and never received a reply. The company may have changed hands or gone under, but there's no indication of this on their website--it looks like business as usual. I did notice that several of their social media accounts have been suspended. Regardless, there's no excuse for taking a customer's money, losing their order, and then refusing to acknowledge the mistake and offer a replacement or refund after a month has gone by. Having lost almost $50, I will not be risking my money by ordering from this company again.

Ordered a medication from here on Sept 1. It's the end of December and I still haven't recieved it. I've sent several emails to support and none of them get answered.

I placed an order for an item that was showing as in stock on their website, and paid for next day delivery. I have received nothing.

The item is now showing out of stock on their website, so one might assume that this is the cause of delay,

I have reached out to them three times via online contact form and email and received no replies (and judging by the sellers comments to other reviews, they're claiming they don't receive the emails - To which I would say... Check your spam folder, like any other human being with common sense.)

It would take them just a few minutes to engage with the customer and say "Sorry the item is out of stock would you like to wait or would you like a refund?"

But instead, the just ignore customers.

I have paid over £20 for an order and received nothing and no communication. That's dishonest. That's theft. It's disgraceful.

Ordered prescription medicine, shown as available though website. Order completed, yet no confirmation, receipt or anything else received on email. Few days later, money deducted from account. A month later, still no communication at all from company, in spite of multiple customer service inquiries. Now reverting the charge through credit card dispute, smh.

EDIT: A refund, at least. May I recommend to the company that you check if your online contact form is working, since I used it twice with no response. And, of course, better don't show items in stock if they're not.

Always been very good, I really think a lot of the bad reviews are unwarranted! I work in IT, so the PayPal not working is what happens! when you don’t want to pay their disgusting fees! Please don’t assume this wonderful company is anything but honest! I think Royal Mail let them down a lot, as they have with me in the past! I cannot fault them! I would highly recommend!

I strongly advise anyone to desist from engaging with this online hub. It is a fraud. The method of payment refuses paypal. I ordered Cetreban oil. It said they had it in stock on their website. I ordered on the 19th of July 2023. Their phone does not work. They answer Trust Pilot reviews with lies. I still have not recieved my money back.

Below is my previous review on Trust Pilot. Does anyone know where I can report this BetterChemist for scamming people in broad daylight. I am going to report BetterChemist. Only way I can get back my money.

I ordered Cetraben Ammolient bath oil x4. I paid £39.15. They wrote that they sent emails with track number. I have not recieved the email. I logged into my BetterChemist account and noted that it says refunded. I checked my bank account and there is no refund. I rand their number 0845 094 7602 but it kept ringing till it dropped , without any response. I am not sure about Better Chemist yet. I hope they refund me my money. Its frustrating when thoughts of being scammed start to pop into your head. Better Chemist please can you address my issue as a matter of urgency. My Order #100074745.

Order still missing and stuck at the dispatch post office after paying extra for the priority next day delivery. Obviously this is due to the strikes but my 2 emails have remained unanswered and the phone number provided does not work. I will need refund but there is no way of getting in touch with the company.

Item ordered for recorded delivery on Friday morning and should have arrived Saturday or Monday at latest. I've paid 6.95 for this service and it's not arrived so I've paid extra for quicker postage and now I'm waiting and will get it the same time as the cheaper postage option. Shocking.

It's nearly May and I'm still waiting for an order I placed in October. They have ignored my emails and their phone number is a 0845 number that costs to phone. They have scammed me out of nearly £30.

I have been ordering from Better Chemist for a few years now and they have always been wonderful! The site is simple and easy to use, customer service is friendly and efficient, prices are fair and reasonable, and delivery is affordable and prompt. I live in the States, but I never have to wait long for my order to arrive. My most recent order arrived only 9 days after I placed it! The one time that they didn't have the product I ordered in stock due to an issue that was out of their control, they informed me immediately and got the product to me as quickly as possible (it did not take long!). I would definitely recommend Better Chemist to anyone and everyone!!!

I'm hoping Better Chemist will see this and reply as I have seen with others. I just placed an order but I ordered the wrong flavor. I ordered peppermint and meant to order aniseed. It is a fairly large order and I would like to change it before it ships. I am in the USA and would hate to have to return it. I tried calling but no answer, maybe because they are closed on the weekends but I could not find any information on their hours anywhere? Thanks, I will update to 5 stars once I get my order.

Update: Better Chemist could not ship my order, but it was not their fault. The carriers would not ship such a large order of liquids. The lady who emailed me did everything she could to try and get me my order. She even contacted an outside 3rd party shipping service, but the prices were ridiculous. They refunded me in full for both orders and I got my money back in a few days. I will rate them 5 stars for their customer service.

Better chemist is my ‘away from home’ pharmacy. The ordering system is simple and easy to use, items are dispatched speedily, mostly same day and perfectly packaged for overseas post. When you need a pharmacy that you can trust you need Betterchemist and the lovely Lydia is a real professional with perfect customer care skills. Will recommend every time.
