Whst a nightmare. Turned up yesterday with my boyfriend only yo be told he's banned for life. He went way back with someone else and there was a problem

I've been there with him since no problem, don't know how we got in last year, no one told my boyfriend he was banned then

Now we won't be going anymore, and it's not all thst great. You get mixed messages that it's a spa, and rooms upstairs, you seem to be watched a lot and it's not really relaxing.

This is advertised as a naturists spa however left after 20 minutes feeling very uncomfortable by others propositioning sex in rooms they have upstairs! . Place is very tired looking inside. Not for true naturists who just want to genuinely chill out. Beware!

Finally made my first brief visit (Saturday afternoon) just to check the vibe, and I was not disappointed. First thing to say is that the place is absolutely spotless throughout, with staff constantly checking and cleaning every area. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, staff are happy to help with any questions. The site is spread over 3 floors (warm and comfortable throughout), with the entrance, lounge, and changing area on the ground floor, spa facilities the basement level, and rest rooms etc on the upper room. It'll leave you to guess where the roof terrace is - I didn't use use it (it's March) but it looked very inviting. I only had time to briefly try everything (steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, jacuzzi, plunge pool, hot/cold showers) but everything was fully operational and very clean, and I felt completely at home there. Other clients seemed a modest lot, no weird vibes at all.
There are just two things that I need to flag up. Firstly, the small problem - the supplied towels are lovely quality, but I wasn't the only person who couldn't 'wear' it - perhaps a limited number of larger towels (maybe a different colour for ease of reference?) could be available on request, for those of us of a larger circumference? Secondly, and more importantly, the stairs between the three floors are very narrow and very steep, and seriously only suitable for those in good health, with full mobility, and steady nerves. Issues like this are par for the course in older buildings which are continually repurposed over many decades, and the owners have done a great job to shoehorn such fantastic facilities into the available space, and make it feel genuinely welcoming. "I'll be back!" for sure.

This is a naked Spa designed more for your naturist than your “Champneys” clients. Towels are supplied to wear around the place so nakedness isn’t thrust in your face. The spa area is fully naked (no swimming costumes in the Jacuzzi pool sauna). We can’t say we are regulars, but have been a few times. The staff are friendly, and welcoming, and always on the go, cleaning/ serving customers and always on hand for advice. We go for the chilled atmosphere and spa facilities. Yes. There is a separate play area for the swingers, but this isn’t thrust in your face. Single men and women use the Spa, if you don’t want them around attend after 5pm on a Saturday or Sunday. Overall a great place.

Smells of Urine in places. Cheap Decor and turned out to be a swingers hook up. 30 mins and I was out the door , Trying to find a more relaxing chilled venue.

My first time at this superb spa. From the moment my partner and I an arrived we were put at ease by the customer orientated team. The spa is beautiful, clean, very well maintained and exceptionally relaxing. We met some amazing people and made firm friends. I managed to sleep 12 hours after spending 5.5 hours at the spa. For insomniac this is superb. We will be back as soon a possible. Excellent value for money.

Spent a very pleasant evening with other couples, superb facilites and and a relaxed atmosphere, nice friendly staff.

The best spa in the UK staff are so friendly and welcoming and the facilities are very clean, 2 saunas and 2 steam rooms best steam room ever..!!! and of course, a cold plunge shower which is important, and they always help when needed no fake smiles like most places do so you should definitely visit the place otherwise you'll miss out x

Visited today 24/06. Sam and the team there were extremely lovely and I had a lovely time time there. I loved the place, facilities, layout and it was very clean. I must try the massage next time.

I visited on Wednesday and Thursday for the first time since COVID, and I have to say, even with COVID regulations being strictly enforced and adhered to, every visit just gets better. Angie and the team provide a first class spa; even when short of staff they are smiling and find time to have a friendly chat (thanks Angie, random but great fun!). Two saunas, two steam rooms, four showers (one of which is a cold one; bliss!), an auto-timed powerful jet jacuzzi that can seat four even while following COVID guidelines, a plunge pool (to cool down), and three hot deep pools, two small that seats one and a larger one that can seat four whilst following COVID guidelines, all three of which have gentle but soothingly effective jets. Something for everyone!
Maffa/Maffy (sorry - senior brains don’t retain names for very long!) was brilliant; hardly noticeable when performing the regular temperature and cleanliness checks, and spot on with the health and safety, reminding us all kindly but authoritatively of the need to keep our towels in the provided bags when not in use, especially considering she has only been there three weeks! A credit to both the team member that is training her, and to herself for picking it up so quickly and with the best attitude! Anna, on reception the following day, was also friendly, approachable and chatty, and a special mention must go to the masseuse (I’m so sorry; senior brain plus massage equals complete brain fog) on Thursday, who was so helpful, knowledgeably explaining what she was doing and why, when coming across the painful bits (of which there were many). She was absolutely right; I got home Thursday night and slept most of Friday!!!
Thank you to everyone involved with the operation, maintenance and day to day running of this fantastic spa. Please keep doing what you’re doing; we love you! Any plans to open more around the country?!
