Great tour, great company
I have just returned from an eight-day trip around Bhutan. There were four of us, and we were all extremely happy with the service provided by the Access Bhutan Tours & Treks.
Chimi, the owner of both the agency and the hotel in Thimpu, where we stayed for four nights, is a really nice, flexible, responsive, and very helpful person.
On her own initiative, she booked us the best window seats on the flight from Kathmandu to Paro and on our return from Paro to Delhi. Thanks to this, we had the opportunity to see the Himalayas from a bird’s-eye view twice! During our stay, she frequently talked to us, showing genuine interest in our needs and preferences, particularly when it came to food.
The car we were provided was spacious and incredibly comfortable. I have to say, I’ve never traveled in such comfort before :)
Kencho, our guide, is incredibly kind, patient, flexible, and helpful. He was consistently showing his concern for our well-being. He has extensive knowledge of Bhutan and Buddhism, which he eagerly shared with us. On top of that, he turned out to be a fantastic photographer — many of the best photos from our trip were taken by him :)
Chundu, our driver, is also very kind, patient, flexible and helpful. His driving made us feel safe, even on the often winding and narrow mountain roads. He helped us whenever he could, always with a smile on his face.
The hotels we stayed in ranged from good to excellent, the food was delicious and suitable for both those of us who enjoy spicy dishes and those who do not.
The tour program was varied and engaging, and all of our requests for changes, both before and during the trip, were accommodated.
All four of us were extremely pleased with how the trip went and the service we received. It would be very difficult to find anything to complain about! I can definitely recommend this agency.
