Just another car dealership

Just another car dealership. I was hoping my experience at Bickford Motors would be good enough to feel comfortable returning to buy more vehicles for my business. Unfortunately, this was not the case. After finding the perfect truck, agreeing to a price (full price), purchasing some extra parts (full price), and securing financing through my credit union, Bickford did something called "spot delivery" or "yo yo sale." This means they didn't secure my loan before I drove the vehicle off the lot. When the deal didn't go through (after already cashing my down payment) they called me asking for $3K more. What was most frustrating was that I had increased my initial down payment based on their recommendation to secure a lower rate. Moreover, come to find out, Bickford could buy down my loan for $400 to fix their mistake (the difference between the two rates) but didn’t because they didn't really care about me - their customer - just angling for more cash and securing the profit from their sale. In the end, my credit union took care of the discrepancy. Be weary if you shop here.

An Awesome Experience from start to finish

I purchased a new 2020 Ford Fusion for my father and had a fantastic experience working with my sales consultant, Jake Berg, at every stage of the purchase. The transaction had a few "moving parts" that required some creative thinking on Jake's side to make the sale happen. Jake was responsive, kept to his word and followed up with me in a timely manner.

Jake has excellent consultative selling skills and I appreciated that he listened to me during the sales process and didn't try to talk "above me".
He is super friendly, wants to facilitate a sale and I received an excellent price for the vehicle. He also worked to ensure that I would get the applicable rebates and I was impressed with the pricing. Bickford's pricing was better than the other dealerships I looked at around the Puget Sound. Jake kept me informed throughout the week about the vehicle's arrival and had the paperwork ready for my father to sign when he arrived from out of town. My father is over 80 years old and I wanted to limit his exposure during this time of pandemic. Jake understood and had the licensing paperwork completed in advance so my father didn't have to spend a lot of unnecessary time at the dealership.

Jake also had Tucker available per my request to provide the vehicle orientation as soon as we arrived at the dealership. Tucker was patient, respectful and kind to my dad who is not comfortable with technology. I appreciated Tucker's patience during the vehicle overview. He made the experience of my dad getting his first brand new car in forty years pretty exciting!

I highly recommend Bickford Ford and the team. I will buy from them again because of the awesome service and attention I received from this company as well as Jake and Tucker.
