While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. Buy proper bike insurance instead of the cheapest one. My bike has been stolen from a previous office that went under renovation during the lockdown and all Bicy could say was that they can't do anything because the bike had been locked away from home for more than 12 hours. I left the bike there because Covid started and the government advised against all travel so I couldn't go and retrieve it. But that didn't matter for them at all.
Double standards and poor communication
I signed up with Bicy around July 2020 with my vintage bike. All good. However, when wanting to change my policy, the poo-show started. I had sold my old bike and replaced it with a new one (all parts bought first hand, with receipts but from different vendors). I've now been caught in a 6+ weeks long e-mail correspondence where I get no clear communication. Their e-mails are filled with grammatical errors, their representatives do not properly read my emails, only to send 1-2 corrections to their original e-mail as they "re-read my initial response". Over the last 24 hours, I've had 3 e-mails from them and with every e-mail I've requested my policy cancelled as they do not cover "new bikes bought part-by-part" (??) Yet they keep on ignoring my cancellation request and go on about how they can only insure "my original bike, as it was. None of the new parts"

Please avoid at all costs.
Please avoid at all costs.. extremely unprofessional set up, barrier after barrier put up when claiming. Provided evidence requested, number of times. Documents lost with personal info on them. Think very carefully before using this set up. You will be better off getting a deal direct with the purchasers of your bicycle. Believe me I wish I had!!
Do not choose them
Do not choose them. They will find any reason to not give you anything. You will pay them for nothing.
Even if the bike was dirty that may be a reason... I do not recommend them!
