Avoid at all costs. c.£500 TV cabinet arrived with a smashed glass shelf inside, and because it wasn't reported within 48hrs, they refuse to replace. I had to do all the chasing to eventually be given this information, emails unanswered and if someone picks the phone up you're very, very "lucky".
Disgrace of a company, save yourself the bother and avoid.

I ordered a hi/tv unit which advertised as next day delivery. 1 week later still no details of when my unit would be dispatched, despite two emails and several calls to both phone numbers which were ignored or rang out. I suspected this must have been a scam as I've never experienced such bad customer service. I contacted PayPal and they sorted out my issue immediately and thankfully a refund will be made. Thank you PayPal and would definitely not recommend this company.

Placed an order for a next day delivery item.
Still waiting for order a week later, and email remains unanswered.

UPDATE --
I have now been contacted by the managed of Big-AV and he has apologised for the issues i have had and offered compensation. I have accepted this now feel this matter is suitably resolved, and they have confirmed that in the future they will improve hteir communication should anyone have any problems.

I would still advise everyone signs for a package "as damaged" in order to ensure if there is any damage you are covered.

I bought a stand from this company and paid an extra £20 for delivery on Saturday. Then they delivered it to the wrong address (in the wrong half of the country) after i had stayed in all day waiting for the goods. They then resent the package for the next week and again gave no tracking numbers or anything.

When i signed for it and unboxed it the stand was damaged - see photos. They implied that this was my fault and did not want to replace with another piece. They then asked the manufaturer to send a replacement, again saying this was not their fault as i signed for the box in good condition. If the manufacturer had not sent the replacement piece out of their own gesture, big-av would not have done so nor refunded me.

Once the replacement piece was sent, this too was damaged and when i got in touch with big-av they said there was nothing they could do.

Complete cowboys - do not use!

Everything went smoothly and without a hitch, my product arrived the next working day which was the day i expected it after the call i recieved from them.

The product itself was a little tricky at first to assemble but one quick call and James helped me out, it turns out it wasnt hard at all..

Highly recommended online store for value and service.

After searching the internet and calling various companies I rang Big-Av. The staff gave me in depth information about the BDI stand I have been researching about and actually offered me a slight discount! (if I ordered with them by the end of the week)
I found the sales assistant patient and knowledgeable which helped me decide.
Will recommend this company and return if I need any further help.

I called about a stand, and it turned out they also run the sony centre in huddersfield, which is my town, so i paid over the phone then picked it up from the sony centre an hour later, well pleased with the stand, and half the price of argos!

I was unsure when i placed my order as to which stand to go for to fit my 50" TV and as these guys had a free phone number I gave them a call to discuss it. They answered all my questions and even advised against a stand I liked that would not have been suitable, which I thought was excellent service. We eventually came to a decision after some discussion and found a stand that fit our requirements. the order was paid for at quarter to three, so I was surprised that the advisor told me he could try to get it to me next day, amazingly they came through and it was delivered half ten the next morning! I did have a little difficulty assembling the flat packed stand, but one call to the freefone number and their brilliant technical help shone through and within minutes my TV was taking pride of place in my front room. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend to anyone

Oredring and payment via the Web was easy, perhaps TOO easy, at least as far as the payment was concerned. i ordered the product on a Thursday evening, assured by the promise that "in most cases", delivery was by next day secure courier. Saturday comes, with nothing doing. I phoned the company and was told it should be with me "Monday or Tuesday". here I am on Monday afternoon, still nothing. Phoned again, and after being unceremoniously placed on hold (they didn't say anything, the line just went silent) TWICE, I was told, hesitantly I believe, that the goods would (finally) be with me tomorrow (Tuesday). We will see!

Ordered a TV stand, it arrived next daywith loads of extra bubble wrap to ensure the glass reached us safely. The product was exactly as described but looked even better when it was built up than it did in the pictures. The price was very cheap also.
