Big W cancelled by online order without notification. Instead I just get a 'gift voucher' of the same amount rather than I refund. I will never shop with them again as its now wasting my time and money to hold on the call centre to speak to a 'virtual assistant'
Affordable shopping
I picked up school supplies at Big W, and the prices were fantastic. Everything I needed was in stock.
They don’t even deserve one star !!
They don’t even deserve one star !!! Slack and unprofessional!! Most importantly very late !!
NEVER AGAIN !
The courier service Team Global Express…
The courier service Team Global Express you use is the worst delivery company in the world. Attempted deivery of a tv 2 days before their predicted delivery date and thats it. Wont attempt delivery again and require pick up from depot. Virtually no means of contacting them and their dismal reviews say it all. Big W would be wise to choose another company
Big W Online: Proof That Incompetence Can Be Engineered
Big W has somehow managed to turn “two-factor authentication” into a four-factor labyrinth. To purchase anything online, you must confirm codes from both email and a mobile number. Fine, except if you’ve ever changed your phone number, the entire system implodes.
Why? Because in order to update your number, their genius system demands you first confirm the old number – the one you no longer have access to. Yes, they require authentication via a device you literally cannot use anymore. The result? You are permanently locked out of updating your details, let alone buying anything.
This is not security; it is incompetence masquerading as caution. Whoever designed this fiasco has achieved the remarkable feat of creating a system that is both unusable and unfixable. The outcome is a so-called “online store” that cannot actually sell you anything unless you have psychic foresight never to change your phone number for the rest of your life.
It is astonishing that a national retailer believes this is an acceptable model for customers. Until Big W wakes up and designs an authentication process grounded in reality, their “online store” is a dead end. Avoid unless you enjoy frustration, circular logic, and banging your head against a digital brick wall.

Big W Underwood blocked me after the wrong code. When they sent three codes. Also I ordered Parachute cord on the 10th August and today is the 20th August and it's still not here. No updates at all. Not very impressed with Big W.

One of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had has been with BIG W. The service feels like a complete rip-off — and to make matters worse, no one responds to emails for days. Extremely disappointing. wish i can go less then 1 star
I purchased a Nokia c02 mobile from Big W website!
I purchased a Nokia c02 mobile from their market place website that was supposed to be unlocked but it’s locked to a network! Come to find out it’s actually a refurbished phone sold from mobileciti! Nowhere on the Big W website does it state it’s a refurbished phone and if I had known that I wouldn’t have bought it! Now I’m stuck with a phone that I can not use and out $170! This is false advertising and they should be fined or give me a refund! I’m absolutely disgusted that I’ve been scammed by Big W! I never ever would have expected that! I’m beyond angry and will be taking this matter further!
Don’t buy Big W
I bought a jacket on the Big W online site. I received a week ago it is real bad quality nothing like the advertising photos. I went Big W Noosaville to be told they can’t take it back because it is classified Market Place stock I have to return to the Seller WHY I am dealing with Big W. I have been texting Big W for a week plus the Seller. I still have no results everytime you try and send a text it bounces back as not received. Please they do not tell you all this. The seller tried to offer 30% refund and keep the jacket the jacket is rubbish nothing like the advertised photos. Also you can buy the same thing on eBay at half the price so please don’t buy from Big W and go to eBay. Also watch for Market place item they do not tell you about returns and the poor staff have to put up with all the abuse from Customers. I paid $59.00 eBay is $34.00 ???? I am throwing this in I am 75 just had my left Breast removed from Cancer and will be having the right on also removed and I have to go through this
Big W Marketplace are Scammers. Temu runs rings around you with their refunds and treatment of customers
This review is for Big W Marketplace. If I could give no stars I would. I unfortunately purchased some Tefal Frypans from Big W. I thought it was from Big W itself but, it was through a third party which I didn't realise at the time. The frypans were not the right size and I didn't realise that they were not compatible with my cooktop and were aluminum and not the stainless steel pans that I thought I was ordering. I took the order back to Big W to return to only be told that I had purchased through Big W Marketplace and I would have to return online. The man at Big W said it was really easy to get a return. NO, IT IS NOT! I did was what required and after taking images and going back and forth I was told to wait until Market Place made a decision. After 6 days of waiting I rang Market Place only to be told that my return was rejected as it was a special buy and they refused to give a refund for a change of mind. I was then told that I should resell my item on Facebook marketplace as they would not be giving me a return. I was extremely upset and could not believe what I was being told. I have bought many things online in the past and Big W was somewhere I have bought many items. To be honest, I have had better responses and refunds from Temu and AliExpress than Big W Marketplace. Big W you should be ashamed of yourselves. I WILL NEVER, EVER BUY ANOTHER ITEM FROM YOUR WEBSITE ONLINE. Temu and AliExpress are a 1000% better than you with returns and treatment of their customers. I'm now stuck with frypans I can't use and to add insult to injury your lovely online staff have told me to resell them via Facebook marketplace or some other type of reseller. You are scammers and should be ashamed of yourselves.

I just visited BigW Gawler shopped and had item to check out, only selfserve open so I left item and walked out.
Online shopping is lacking any certainty around delivery
Online shopping is missing one important piece of the online shopping experience; which is delivery. I was l advised the product had been delivered which it had not, I have been advised 3 dates to expect delivery, still have not received the order, the chat bot offers nothing. BigW market have been helpful but they have no control over delivery. BigW should adopt a delivery model such as Amazon where for the most part you get what you ordered when tracking tells you.
Thieves…
I made my order online for a delivery with no postage. Later I received an email saying I would not receive my full order, even though their own website stated that it had not been shipped I was unable to cancel. I was charged shipping I had not agreed to and, when I went in-store to return the unwanted item Big W kept the postage they had charged me without my consent.
Would put 0 stars if I could.
Would put 0 stars if I could.
Selling MAGA hats as costumes now?! You may as well have nazi costumes too!
Do better. This is Australia, not the USA. Stop trying to normalise their sh*tshow here.
BE AWARE OF DELIVERY CHARGES.......
Be aware of how ordering online with BIG W can cost you more than you expected. The BIG W website state that the cost of delivery is FREE FOR ORDERS OVER $65.00. This statement is NOT CORRECT!!!
When you place an order on the BIG W site for $131.04 one would expect that this statement is correct.
However, as they outsource various items listed on their to outside suppliers, they charge you delivery charges - for two parts of a three part order and the balance paid included delivery fees of $16.95.
This consisted of $12 for delivery from BIG W ROBINA QLD and $4.95 charged by one of the outside companies. - very disappointing.
Suggest you do not use BIG W for online orders, there are always competitive sites who do not rip you off at any opportunity.

Scammers
Will never order from them again.
We have had several issues in the past but this one is a complete joke.
We ordered a bed, was sent the wrong one, yet complaints department are insisting we ordered this bed. Despite the fact it's nothing like the bed we order other than in size and brand! I have no doubt they will take no responsibility for it, neither will Big W, despite their name being at the top. It's actually disgusting and nothing short of a scam.

Big W is now selling MAGA hats as a "fun costume, step into style and be iconic". Gross. They keep deleting objection comments to it and show no accountability. Absolutely disgraceful.
ONLINE SHOPING SCAM - BIG W and My DEAL - DO NOT USE EVER
CANNOT CANCEL ORDERS PRIOR TO EVEN PROCESSING - now costing $30 plus to return $150 item and 30 days to get refund if al all - SCAM
I ordered a NutriBullet from Big W website - and WITHIN 2 HOURS - needed to cancel order.
Using chat contacted Big W support immediately and was told it had to be delivered and to return to Big W store on arrival for refund ( have chat saved)
Took ot to BIG W to discover it was not them who provided but a third party an HOW WOULD KNOW THAT AS LOGO SAYS BIG W and in very very small type says supplied by trusted partners - Who apparently have different process / rules but nothing on websites to assist/ say what they are -
Was with Big W store Manager also and neither of us could find info - finally called Big W Customer service who advised was not them and they would log a ticket with the supplier - how a customer would know this when nothing clear on website - If it says BIG W - it should be Big W
Now been told is $15 restocking fee plus $15 postage minimum and will take 30 days to refund and is at their discretion
DO NOT USE BIG W OR MY DEAL AS COMPLETE SCAM AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURNS - CANNOT BE TRUSTED
THIS COULD HAVE ALL BEEN AVOIDED IF ORDER COULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED - A COMPLETE WASTE OF $150
