On February 4, 2024, I bought a Scott 940 bicycle. After making the payment, the next day the store asked for an ID card to verify the transaction. Then, after my inquiry, I received a reply that the order would not be fulfilled due to the large number of orders for this product and the lack of the product. Despite this information, to this day the status of my order on the store's website is "on backorder". I was informed that the money would be refunded. It is now February 19, I have not received my money back, nor the bike. The store no longer responds to messages. I do not recommend!!!

I was scammed too!!! the company offered bicycles at a promotional price, after ordering it turns out that the bicycles are out of stock. Now I was left without a bike and without money. When will I receive my money?! I do not recommend this store!!

Dear buyer:
In this store, there is no guarantee that you will receive the goods (fictional sale of the product. Issuing a sales document for an item that is unavailable).
Do not expect feedback on what is happening with the ordered goods (lack of information that the goods are unavailable and the order will be canceled - the store's terms and conditions state that they will contact the customer, but I had to reach out to receive information).
I confirm that I have not received a refund to this day (6 days have passed since the purchase). The store already knew that it would not fulfill the orders, so why are customer funds being held?

TL;DR:

Attempt to resell faulty product to another customer, despite intrinsic fault.
Details:
On the 23rd of July 23, I ordered a rear flashing LED bike light. I was so not expecting a fault, that I made the mistake to get rid of the original package.
After a couple of weeks, I tried it, mounted on the seat pillar, but it soon revealed its faulty behaviour: any bumps on the road would change its flashing mode to "static mode", which obviously is not wanted.
I returned it, along with the USB cables, and a few other items from the original package, but not with its original package. I thought that since the light is anyway faulty, the return would be accepted, as it was not a case of selling it back to another customer, or me repaired anyway, as an electronic fault like that, given the price of the item < 40 EUR, would cost twice as much just to investigate...
The manager and I get swirled into a spiral of non-communication, as the guy strongly held the position of not refunding me, nor offering me a voucher, nor sending another item, for the reason that I didn't return the original package, and that I had used it in real life, at the back of my bike...
To notice the fault, using it in real life was the only way, and a fault like the one that it had made it impossible to resell to another customer.
He put forward the argument that he couldn't resell it (even if faulty) to anyone else, because of the absence of original package...
