Fast delivery, good choice of products. Second time ordering from Defender Bird Spikes, I recommend them.

Not reviewing the company as such, our spikes were fitted by an local pest control contractor who is proud to use Defender Bird Spikes. I am reviewing the actual product.
We have had an issue with gulls nesting on our chimney for years so decided to have the spikes fitted.
I am sure they work for the majority of people but as I type this, I have 2 chicks on my chimney and face swooping parents every time I venture outside.
For me, the spikes are a failure and waste of money.
Just be prepared that there is a chance they might not work and your gull problem continues.

Great product. It’s stopped the pigeons completely. We did make the mistake of leaving a small gap and thinking it would be fine - never trust a pesky pigeon! We quickly remedied it and haven’t had any visits since.

Used the narrow steel bird spikes on the ridge of our new greenhouse. The silicone adhesive works well to fasten them to aluminium surfaces. Good quality products and fast delivery means that I would recommend this company.

The package arrived on day 3 of purchasing. Looks a well made product. I had to wait 2 days for our roof technician to fit them for us. Fitted easily. Looks good and have began discouraging the pigeons from sitting. Great job. Would highly recommend.

Fairly easy to fit but the fixing didn't fit the aerial could only use the ties and silicon glue. Definitely no pigeons landing on the aerial now

The site has a very comprehensive range of product, and after receiving the extra wide steel seagull & pigeon spikes I felt this product was well made. However, I did have some difficulty in gluing the product to a flat lead cover bay window roof. The problem arose because the lead was not perfectly flat but had small ripples in its surface which meant that the thick plastic base wouldn't hold down at its ends. Perhaps thick plastic has to be used to provide a sufficiently strong base to hold a steel spike but if it was able to construct the spike unit with a thinner more flexible base it would be possible to avoid the end of a unit from lifting after the glue was applied

First rate service, my order arrived in two days even after ordering on a Bank Holiday weekend. Perfect spikes to stop the pigeons roosting in my car port. Also used them on the top of my pergola which has stopped the pigeons landing and the resultant mess on the paving.

I've had gulls nesting on my roof for several years and I'm hugely relieved that the 'Irritator' gull spikes have been successful in deterring nest building this year.
