1. Do not treat your customers like your fools on auto-renewal license. If you had increased your fees you MUST let your loyal customers know otherwise they may think you are reaping them off.
2. Please speak politely.
3. Maintain good relationship with your customers in order to keep your customers.

Auto renewal is very difficult to end, you basically need to call them.

Support sounds super annoyed,
they even just hang up.

I am dissatisfied.

Shocking way to treat a loyal customer.
I do not use auto renew on anything i buy, somehow after 4 years of being a loyal customer Bitdefender decided they would auto renew my account with a large increase on last years price. Sadly for Bitdefender i will now look for an alternative supplier so i won't get ripped off again!
Bitdefender is like most internet companies, impossible to contact even by email and certainly not by phone!

Auto renewed for the most expensive option despite cancelling my card on their account months ago, checking now the card has made its way back on to their website with no way to remove, really scummy underhanded tactics, avoid.

Bought the day before, took them over 24 hours to send me the package. Tried and tried to install, but wouldn't, even uninstalled my present internet security thinking it may be blocking the new download, but now I am without any security cover at all. Have emailed, but their response time is pathetic

They took money without advising me of renewal. Gad Duffus ukty getting refund sbd lacking customer service communication.
Poor all over

Hidden autorenewal that multiplicates x 3 the original price. Furthermore it is impossible to cancel the account, I had spend more than 10 minutes in my panel and I can't find the button.

Anti-virus seems to work well. Support via e-mail was very responsive and helpful when I had an issue with extending my subscription. Much better service than expected!

Don't use.

The service includes an automated renewal of the subscription, which in my case was more than 3x as expensive as the original subscription.

Fradulent: upon login on your user account at bitdefender.com, no mention of such automated renewal is visible, nor is it possible to change any subscription parameters.
I could find two instructions on how to change subscription parameters online, both written by bitdefender.com. None of these where possible to execute, as the options mentioned in the instructions are just not there in your user account.

Awful. I'm a busy MD managing multiple devices. I purchased the small business package and was given a link that I could supposedly send to the team to install on their laptops and then I could keep an eye on centrally.

Basically it doesn't work.The team have installed it multiple times in multiple ways and they never link centrally, it's been a nightmare. Central support is horrendous. International number takes you to an O2 standard voicemail greeting. Online chat want me to get all my laptops together and try trouble shooting in various ways but as we are all over the UK I really don't have the time or inclination, something so simple should just work and we've tried to fix it multiple times wasting hours. Im moving to another provider.

My subscription ended in 2012, and I have been billed by a third party since that time. I called up approximately 24 months ago when I noted it was happening and was told the payments would be cancelled. 4 days ago, I noticed payments were still occurring. I went to my bank to halt payments, and was told by my bank that payments had occurred since my subscription ended. I have been in contact with the company a number of times in the past couple of days, and they will not refund me my money because their refund policy is 30 days. At no time I was told that I would need to call different people to have payments stopped. SCAM ARTISTS! They have now scammed $300 from me and I am only entitled to one of those payments back because it falls in the 30 day refund policy!!!!!

UPDATE- After reviewing bitdefender on a few sites, they PROMISED me in WRITING to refund all money taken without authorisation. they have so far refunded three deductions but have now said they are unable to refund the last two!!!!
