I was offered assistance by a young man with short curly hair, I’m sorry I didn’t ask his name. It was approximately 11.50am.
He recommended the Merrell brand for shoes and boots as I had asked about wide fittings.
He also informed me they have a good arch support too: all my choices of sizes and shoes/boots were available to try on. The assistant informed my half sizes are available on line.

Went in for a Mountain Equipment coat and received top level service!

Ordered a rab coat and Northfield.. to which was dumped on my front street which is near a high school and nature park!!!in plain site for everyone to see!to which the parcel has gone missing!!! iv been told that they are not liable as it was delivered to my home!absolutely shocking customer serviceand care!!!

Great service from Charlie at the Bury Black's store. Needed a pair of boots. Knew roughly what I wanted but he really helped with getting the right size. Also he offered more technical advise and help e.g Goretex protection outer and inner in a clear and relevant manner. That really helped my understanding. Great customer service.

As soon as I entered the store there were lots of staff members available to help me with my query. The store looked well stocked as well which was very welcoming to me. Unfortunately the tent I wanted was not available in store and so the team member who was helping me ordered the tent online for me to my home address with no delivery charge which I was impressed with. It took some time for the team member to locate our tent online and the team member kept on thanking us for waiting. My husband and I didn't mind waiting and we both thought this was a nice touch. I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Blacks and will return to them and Go Outdoors for more camping advice and products. The team member also provided me with a waterproof and sunproof solution to apply to the tent and a free guide on how to apply this solution.

Went in with my daughter for boots, socks etc for DofE silver. Lots of very useful help and advice from Jay, came away with everything we needed after about 20 or 30 minutes of trying boots to find the right pair for her. Excellent customer service and we will go back for any other items we need.

Neil in your Bury St Edmunds store was helpful when I went in on 30th July looking for a pair of ladies walking shoes for a one off trip to Scotland. He was couteous, understood my special requirements and made this senior lady feel she has been listened too. I will be shopping there again in the future .

Went in today and was served by Joe I was looking for Nikwax for our gortex jackets, there were a few products to choose from and was a little confusing Joe was excellent he took the time to explain the process of how to use the product which was good as I would have used it wrong !
