Unfulfilled orders

I placed an order before Christmas for all items there were in stock. It is still yet to be dispatched despite them saying it will be sent this week.

Other orders I have placed with them that included pre-orders have had their available dates pushed back further and further, despite these items being available at their competitors.

As evidenced by reviews here and comments on their social media platforms there is clearly something wrong at the company. I would not order from them at this time.

Shipped two months later than promised

On October the 2nd, I pre-ordered two records from ochre.store / bleep.com. I was informed that they would be shipped out on the 27th of October.
Now, as they had to be shipped from the UK to Denmark, and there are a lot of general shipping delays due to the pandemic, I was prepared to wait for a while.
However, on November the 27th they hadn't even been shipped, so I wrote to their support team. They answered quickly and told me that they had some problems with the stock, but that the records would be shipped within the next week, and that I would receive an email when this happened. Ok, would have been nice to have been notified of that, but it was fine I just wanted my records before the end of the year, before the new EU custom laws would be implemented, so there was still time.
Except that they didn't send them within the week. In
fact, they didn't send them at all within the next month, so I reached out to them again and asked about it, as well as adressed my concern about the new custom rules that would be apllied in january, and that would not have been a problem at all had the records actually been shipped on time. Or even 5 weeks later as they promised when I first reached out to them.
However, instead of being shipped on the 27th of October, the records were sent off on the 29th of December, two months after they were supposed to be shipped. And of course by that point it was too late for them to reach Denmark before the New Years. So not only did I have to wait for two months longer than promised, I also have to pay a 30 pounds for customs, wich wouldn't ever have been a problem had the records been shipped even one month late.
So yeah, I do not recommend buying anything from this site.

Avoid!!!

Problems ordering through Bleep.com

Hi

I wanted to warn people on here about issues myself & many others (see Trustpilot website) have had ordering through Bleep.com). They are listing items as in-stock when they’re clearly unavailable & are not fulfilling online orders.

Emails sent to them are not responded to, whilst there is no other way to contact them. They are also not responding to Facebook/Instagram messsges whilst their phone number has been disconnected.

I placed an order with them over three weeks ago (17.12.20) & after an initial generic/automated email two days before Christmas informing me that the order would not be fulfilled before Christmas (& giving all the excuses under the sun) I’ve still not received either the order, or any indication of when the order will be shipped.

I’ve tried contacting their “we will respond within 1 working day” email address, but no response to the last three emails over the past 1-2 weeks. Shocking customer service!

It’s been a really disappointing experience & I’ll never use them again. It’s such a shame as Warp/Bleep used to be good, but appear to have gone downhill after being taken over by Ochre Music Ltd. I’m all for supporting the independents during this awful time, but issues like this make me want to stick with the more mainstream & reliable/honest online stores like Juno.

I’ve lodged a dispute with PayPal to try & get my money back. I’d advise anyone else who has experienced similar issues with them recently to either do the same, or to try & arrange a chargeback through their banks.

Shockingly appalling "service"

Ordered an item from them on 25th December. I appreciate they might not have worked between Christmas and 1st January, however this is now the 7th January and I have no information about the item I ordered with couriered delivery. It's meant to be with me within 1 working day. I contacted them twice, however I only received an automated response from them after my first email - my second message was not even acknowledged. If I do not hear from them by tomorrow I will get in touch with my bank and will ask them to charge them back!

We were exceptionally busy over the Christmas period and were dealing with a backlog of orders. We were working continuously over that period, sending out orders and responding to customer requests but we're sorry we couldn't send your order out sooner.

Our delivery times are always estimates from dispatch of order rather than placing of order. We are looking at a number of ways to improve the messaging about when orders will be dispatched to try and avoid issues like this in the future.

Look elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

Ordered 10th December 2 in stock items. Heard nothing at all from Bleep. Chased them up via support ticket twice just before Christmas asking about when the items would be dispatched.

Received a reply - not before having to prod them, that the items would not arrive before Christmas and I've heard nothing from them since.

Have chased up twice - no replies from them at all.

Just placed an order with a competitor of theirs - order dispatched within a few hours and updated every step of the way.

Think I might have to approach my card provider to instigate a charge back with Bleep as they appear to be disinterested in fulfilling my order!

No service, no response, no phone number, no more business

I seem to be having similar problems to some of the recent reviewers. I ordered an item on 12th. Dec. that was in stock, with a delivery date of 2 days. Just before Christmas they informed me it would not be delivered in time for Christmas - it was a Christmas gift. I have sent their support team ('we aim to contact you within 24 hours') two requests for information and have yet to receive any response. I will not be giving them my business in the future.

Bleeping awful

Wanting to support independents during this difficult time, I placed an order on 4th December and received an email confirming dispatch the same day. After waiting the full extended time advised on their website for Xmas shipping, I queried the status of my order - only to receive a condescending email on 16th December explaining that my order was being "processed" and that orders can take longer to arrive at this time of year. I've since been issued a refund, but no goodwill gesture or effort to ensure future custom. And no response to public Instagram comments on their page. The staff here do not care.

This was my first time using this…

This was my first time using this company ( it will be my last).
I placed an order on the 6th December - it stated 2 days delivery. I have just received a generic email obviously sent to a mailing list stating that the order will not arrive for Christmas. This despite the fact that I have contacted them 3 times since the order to be told each time that the item is in stock.
Sadly this company does not deserve our business.

Items say they are in stock when they aren’t, delaying & splitting orders especially around the holidays is becoming too much hassle.

My fiancé tried to buy me presents for Christmas from bleep.
I have used the online store for a number of years, unfortunately things seem to be going backwards.
As my Fiancé wanted to get me the collection of articles written about or by Andrew Weatherall, she pre-ordered the book & bought me some records.
On her mobile all the records were showing as in stock.
The date comes & goes for the book realise, no contact from Bleep.
My father had just been diagnosed with lung & lymph node cancer, so unfortunately she could not check the process of my order.
Now the Robert Hood record is out of stock, as she requested all the items to arrive at once in time for Christmas.
Instead she has tried to track down a way of communicating with bleep, customer service which seems to not exist, bar emailing them.
She was Fob off by being told that could send out what was in stock but she would have to wait for a restock of certain records she had already paid for.
Bleep have had her payment since December the 7th, without her contacting bleep, like many others we would be in limbo waiting for all the stock to arrive at once.
Bleep have managed to recreate, the cliche of physical record shops digitally, where if someone else wants the product & knows the staff they will get records ordered by other people.
What is the point of preordering anything if the records you put away to buy in one lot ( saving on P&P) are sold to others, restarting the loop of not getting what you ordered & paid for yet again.
This not the 1st time bleep have claimed items are in stock, when they aren’t but still take pre-order money from us.
Bleep has an excellent selection of music & music related stock.
2020 has been an awful year, but the basics of paying for something then it being posted should not be beyond the capabilities of Bleep, neither should having a basic customer service department.
Now I will have to hope the staff will actually complete my order then not send it economy class so I receive it by 2021.
If items are showing as in stock when ordered how do they manage to become out of stock while waiting for a pre-order.
This has happened before though not at Christmas, if you taking people’s money at least be honest to how long until stock arrives.
Also an email address for customer service, it’s not enough.
Only your stock will keep me buying from your store in future as your business model of splitting up order’s so we pay extra P&P while hoping item’s advertised as in stock actually are is getting very boring.
Please respond to my fiancé email on this matter or I will be looking for an other store after 10+ years of buying from you.

Excellent for fans of electronic music, high quality downloads plus vinyl and CDs with very reasonable shipping prices, downloads are in nice tidy ready sorted zips too which is great.

Outstanding in their Bleep'n field!

I've been shopping with Bleep for a few years now, and have never been disappointed. Just a word of praise for the way they package vinyl for their customers. The rice paper wrap, light cardboard mesh, and stout well fitting cardboard outer packaging. I wish other vendors did an equally splendid job.

Top top quality

Their communication has been absolutely excellent. Through no fault of their own the order had to be delayed by the supplier (too much demand for the product), and on top of that I was changing address at the time, their communication made this process very easy and manageable. Also they respond very quickly. 100% would recommend.

Bleep Bleep!

Bleep have an outstanding setup across all levels of music provision. Their artists and products are crackerjack and their customer service is brilliant. Parcels move swiftly and on the very odd occasion an issue is encountered their friendly team "Ochre Support" are always understanding and help quickly to find a resolution. Possessing excellent communication throughout all steps of all orders, they are a pleasure to deal with.
