I had entered the wrong email address on my account, and when I changed my phone, I was unable to transfer the app because I couldn’t verify the change by email. The customer services team responded quickly and were very helpful in resolving the issue.

I initially contacted Blinkist support after experiencing issues signing up for the free trial. The website directed me to Apple Pay, where a card check was successfully completed, before prompting me to either continue in the browser or download the app.
After downloading the app, I was asked to sign up again through my Apple subscription. However, when I then tried to log in, I was met with an error message instructing me to contact customer support.
Despite emailing support and providing details of the issue, I received no response.
To make matters worse, I have since been charged twice for the service – once via my Apple subscription and a second time directly from my bank account. I have now had to chase Blinkist again to request a refund for the duplicate charge.
The app itself may be useful, but my experience with the sign-up process and customer service has been extremely disappointing. Being double charged and then receiving no response from support is not the level of service I would expect from a subscription company.

Customer service did not step up with my problem of not being able to use search. Multiple attempts and still going back to AI Bot. Not able to speak to anyone and messages back and forth didn’t resolve the problem. Last communication I received was that it was being kicked up to tech support. Still waiting.

I omitted linking my subscription to my email account and was initially unable to access my account. I sent a mail to Support, and the issue was resolved in a few hours over the weekend.

Blinkist’s business model seems heavily dependent on people forgetting about their subscription renewal.
They attract users with a very cheap first-year offer, then automatically renew at a much higher price. When customers notice the charge immediately and ask for a refund, even without using the service, they refuse to refund the payment and only offer partial refunds.
In my case, I contacted support right after (like 2 min utes after!!!) noticing the charge and explained clearly that I did not intend to renew. Despite this, they repeatedly refused a full refund.
What is even more concerning is that after looking online, I realized many other customers are reporting exactly the same experience and making the same complaint about unexpected renewals and refused refunds.
Very disappointing customer experience and extremely aggressive renewal practices. Be very careful when subscribing and make sure you cancel well in advance.

I had lost my blinkist voucher some years ago. When rediscovered recently the voucher could not be activated any longer. I contacted the blinkist team, who responded immediately and provided me with a valid voucher. Thanks again for your kind help and support. Cheers, Jörg

I would give zero stars if I could. I mistakenly signed up to this and was charged £79.99. I haven’t used any content whatsoever and requested a refund the same day but have been refused. Avoid at all costs .
