I want to like Blockfi more than I do…
I want to like Blockfi more than I do but there are a number of limitations/issues that cause concern.
- while Blockfi says it does not charge trading fees, EVERY purchase I have made for BTC & ETH have gone through above the spot price. Is Blockfi charging a premium?
- there is no charting feature or ability to place a limit order at a set price.
- while earning interest in BTC is a nice feature, does it offset the risk of not holding my own coins?
- I have sent one or two questions to Blockfi via chat that have not received a reply.

The BlockFi experience has been an excellent one!
The BlockFi experience has been an excellent one. Very simple to get online and to wire assets into my account. Trading has been instantaneous and the iPhone app has also been very simple to use.
One question I have is how to make sure my interest is in BTC - I believe it is. Also, should I use cold storage as well?

The app is annoying due to constantly logging in again without easy Touch ID function. The interest is great though.

Five star experience so far
Five star experience so far. I chose BlockFi over competitors because of their reputation and partnerships in the crypto space. The simplicity of the interest accounts and the ability to purchase all in one place make BlockFi great. I see BlockFi being part of my long-term investment plan. I would love to see more features in the future. Basic things like cost basis, % return would give a greater sense of how you're doing in the market.
