The most amazing experience of my life

We’ve just come back from the most amazing adventures with this company. We had such personal care beyond belief - no mixing with other tourists! When we stayed with the white Karen tribe family we were the only tourists in the whole village - only one family offer their home for this special tour. She cooked us a wonderful meal and we all slept well to the sounds of nature. In the morning Simon, our tour guide, had organised a birthday cake which was yummy. We did 3 days n 2 nights, the other night was in a private treehouse where no other person or house could be seen for miles, with a view of the rainforest mountains. A Karen tribe lady cooked our meal whilst another tribe member played music to us. It was a feast! The treehouse was two bed with each a bathroom open to the hills!
The elephants were amazing and we walked a couple of hours along side them through the rainforest. We went bamboo rafting where we saw elephants drinking water along the way, and zip lining from 24 platforms through the jungle was such fun! We visited a number of temples. The sticky waterfalls were also fun to climb which began our 3 day experience.
Our tour guide, Simon, was absolutely amazing and he’ll be our forever friend now. Such amazing memories we have made and we wish we’d stayed longer in chiang mai to do another tour with the blue elephant Thailand tours.
I booked this about 10 months before our trip and whenever I had a question my emails were answered quickly. I checked in every now and again for our trip to make sure we’d not been forgotten but we never were, and Surin (owner) assured us all along the way. Book early for your tour and experience the real Thailand - the stay with the tribal family will stay in my heart forever especially.
