BMW peru service department sucks.
As expatriate I had BMW's in several countries, but my experience today with BMW in Lima Peru was terrible. I had my first service maintenance which should only last 2 hours.. I had made an appointment at 1100.. When I arrived they told me I had to leave the car and pick it up the next day... I asked why.. Because in The Netherlands, Qatar and Brasil you get a cup of coffee and while waiting and you drive within 2 hours back to your office.. My wife has a MAZDA and prior to that a Toyota in Peru and they have a normal decent service with a waiting room and a cup of coffee.. Why has an A brand like BMW such lousy service in Peru.. I had to argue and fight and next Tuesday they now have for me a "special" quick service... But why do I have to fight for this.. They told me also that their quick service was "suspended"... Totally unacceptable as BMW... and this has nothing to do with Peru because Toyota and Mazda do perform well in Peru. I tried to look on your global web site of Peru to complain but could not find and contact outside Peru.. and complaining to Peru had no result to improve. Can you please get BMW back to a normal standard.. Perhaps you should get an expat in BMW to sort their service organization. My plate number is BPS-500.
