Beautiful and stylish shoes! Logistics could improve a bit
I just ordered shoes from the UK and they got delivered in 9 days. The sandals I bought are very stylish, easy to dress up or down, and i was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are. I love Bocage shoes in general and they're my go-to when I'm in France. I've decked one star to my rating because Bocage still seems to be struggling a bit with their logistics when selling abroad, but i think they're improving with their new international website. At some point I thought my order was lost so I contacted customer service, and they replied the next day with an update. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I wish I'd read these reviews before wasting my time trying to buy shoes from this company. I purchased shoes, the money was deducted from my account immediately, and then ... nothing happened until I received a note saying the order had been cancelled a week later, with no apology, no reason given, nothing. What an incredibly dumb way to treat customers when we have so many options to shop online.
Don’t buy from this company
I placed an order, which was canceled almost 4 weeks ago, so I placed another order which got cancelled as well. I haven’t received a refund for any of those orders and no response to my messages. Now reading these reviews I understand that it’s a common practice. A terrible company with no care for their reputation

I ordered a pair to be shipped internationally and only after a few weeks and me contacting them did they update the order to say it was being fulfilled. After another few weeks it still hadn't updated and when I contacted them they said it was handed over to the courier but wasn't showing on tracking. I sort of suspect it was never actually handed over to the courier since I was never provided a tracking number despite asking a few times.
I mean... it's shoes. It's not the end of the world but for me spending $200+ on shoes is an investment. They're something I'll keep until they break and I consider more sustainable than buying many pairs of cheap shoes over the same time period. So reading these reviews after I ordered and thinking I might just lose that money was a little concerning, however to their credit they did send me a refund so I guess a 'neutral' experience.
Since it all took so long they were sold out so I couldn't reorder, but I don't think I would have anyway after it took so long to sort out and reading the reviews here.
Anyway, the point is if you're not in France or a neighbouring country I just wouldn't bother ordering. Such a shame as I assumed it was a well established and trustworthy brand, but looking at the reviews something has been going wrong with their fulfilment processes for a while. Hopefully they get it sorted!

Customer service is terrible
Customer service is terrible! They are very slow to respond to emails and only resolve issues with refunds after daily emails and threats of complaints.
Do not place an order if a product appears to be back in stock. On the website, after you pay for your order, it shows as refunded, but you don't receive any email notifying you that you won't be receiving the product. If you ask questions and send lots of emails, they finally reply after a month, saying that you will receive your money back in your account. So, if you want your money to be blocked and not receive any information or the desired product, place an order with Bocage 😡
And the shipping is the most expensive; you won't pay more on any other website 😀

Extremely disappointing — wrong item sent and zero customer service
I ordered a pair of boots and they sent me the wrong size. I contacted the company numerous times and more than two weeks have passed with absolutely no response. On top of sending me the wrong product, their website states that I have to pay to return the order. This is a joke!
I do not recommend this company at all.

I have made a purchase for a pair of shoes to be shipped to the UK. At the time of ordering the item was "In Stock" and after I purchased it still said in stock.
So I thought everything would be fine. Fast forward a week later and I had still been charged. No update on my item.
I attempted to call them to understand where my order was. They said my order was cancelled due to no stock, I WASNT notified of this. Another week later and still no refund. Still no email response.
I stupidly placed another order (now also out of stock online) and No update their either. AVOID. Truly terrible.
Expensive and poor customer service
The worst experience ever
The worst experience ever. Ordered a pair of shoes from Bocage.eu on March 2025. I received them, they didn't fit me and I asked to return them. Bocage.eu e-mailed me a return label paid by me (they would withhold 26 euros from the refund). I sent the shoes back, they received them on March 18 2025, according to DHL records and NEVER REFUNDED THEM. NEVER. I e-mailed them twice and they ignored me twice. Worst customer service ever.
Still waiting for my refund!
I bought a pair of boots on the 27th of December. They were too big. I returned them by DHL ( prepared by Bocage) on the 23 of January. I saw they received the package but no reaction. I send several messages but no response. Such a bad customer service for such a brand they pretend to be .
Terrible customer service
I bought a pair of shoes from their website. Their delivery was delayed and I left on holiday. I bought a new pair, assuming I would be reimbursed. It’s now been 6 weeks I am chasing the customer service. I only received an answer once and it was an automated email saying that they had a 14 days delay.
Terrible customer service for such a pricey brand.
I am still expecting them to reimburse but had a terrible experience.

Dangerous, never order there!
Ordered 2 pairs of shoes, never received them and no refund even after multiple times I contacted the customer service. Did a complaint at European Consumer Centre and after one year they also could not help us.

The shoes did not arrive. I live in Sweden and they said they do world wide shipping but they dont. I have not received a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Total waist of money and time.
Where is my refund!!
I bought a jacket from the Paris store that I returned and they took a long time at the store to process the refund. Finally they told me it is done but I still haven’t gotten my refund. There is no way to contact them. Please don’t buy this brand if you don’t live in France!!

Sandal bought at Lafayette Metz for EUR 125.
Soul right shoe detached fully after 2 weeks in normal conditions.

Where is my refund???
Purchased product in store, associate gave wrong size when I noticed it was later that evening while packing back to travel overseas. I left early next morning and was stuck with wrong size sandals. I’ve reached out to online customer service and to date have not received a refund on shipping costs (was promised I have it in writing) nor the cost of original sandals that were returned (i have shipping confirmation and delivery) . This has been way too much work on my end for a store associates error! I should not only get my money refunded to me but also store credit for future purchase if I ever choose to purchase from them again. This whole customer service via online is terrible! I have everything in writing from the beginning, also receipts. I will be disputing the original charges with my credit card company for the sandals as well as shipping costs for the return of original item. This is just too much work on my end for their error! I was told that money has been refunded but to where?: I have not received any monies and this is going on way to long
Inconsistency, misleading, difficult returns
Sizing is inconsistent between shoe styles. I relied on knowing another pair fit me so I ordered the same size and they’re way too big. I wanted to exchange but they would only do a full return. Which is expensive because I ordered from so far. I’d thought the postage for a return would be paid because it says so in their Conditions of Sale. This is misleading, apparently it only means they’ll refund your original shipping cost (not the return cost) if you were to return the entire order.

Absolute scam...
Order a simple pair of shoes. Once they were finally delivered, they were way too big, no idea how they define sizes, and the shoes looked like they've seen some rough times. I tried to return them via their homepage - where my order number apparently doesn't exist. Considering there is no email to be found anywhere, I went with their online form to contact them - didn't even receive a confirmation mail that my form had been received. Haven't heard of them as of yet... Tried to call them today and when you do so, you'll be thrown out of the line immeadiately. Absolutely ridiculous, that something like this still works nowadays...
Little update: I saw here on trustpilot while writing my review a box about the possibility of forwarding this review to the email-address info at bocage.fr, so I thought I'd try contacting them myself through this address first. Wrote a mail and got a message that this address does not exist... :)
This goddamn syndicate needs to be shut down, simply ridiculous!
Avoid Bocage
If I could, I would give zero stars. I purchased two pairs of shoes online and paid in full plus postage. Only one pair arrived. When I contacted them about this I was made to feel as if I had received both until eventually they conceded that one pair had been 'lost'. They offered a refund but I did not want a refund. I wanted the second pair of shoes. They absolutely refused to send another pair, but didn't give any reason. If I knew I would only receive one pair I would not have purchased in the first place as the postage was expensive. I suspect that this is the reason they would not send me the other pair. Very shabby behaviour. I would not buy from Bocage again.
