Very simple to set up, walked through every step of the way and given almost instant answers from support when I had questions. There was a slight delay in the account set up, which was not due to Bokio but the Swedish system which meant I missed a fabulous offer they had on. When I asked support about it they said I'd sadly miss it but they would give me another offer to cover it! Wow! I was a little sceptical about this venture but honestly I am really impressed. You learn by doing and when deep and meaningful information is provided it is in a simple step by step format! Brilliant! 😍

I have Bokio Premium, and just now I logged in and I'm being charged extra 122,50 monthly. The subscription terms change every year, making the plan worse and more expensive without any warning beforehand. I do not recommend Bokio, you will end up tied with a software that is so shady about prices and it must be borderline legal. Actually, increasing prices and changing the plan without any warning must be illegal but they are getting away with it. I will be away from Bokio as soon as possible.

There's NO customer service.
I couldn't care less about fee increase but @Bokio - you must reply to customer enquiries quickly- within an hour or so. Not days and days after. We've got VAT returns to submit, accounts to file and you don't even reply. And then give some sorry response how every enquiry is an accounting issue (which needs accountants) even when it's a technical issue.
You don't answer your phone line either.
We're now locked out because your 2FA does not work..If our filings are late, then this is going to get nasty because we're going to complain to HMRC that' you're not set up to serve companies properly using their MTD service.

First basic for free then monthly fee and now quarterly! I only send invoice 2 times a year and handle all tax ant 10-15 costs during declaration and for that it cost me 3588sek! The have task list to do but the order of it is messed up! first task "close the year" 3RD task tax booking for last year ! just a few tings, stay away

Appalling Customer service
I've used Bokio since 2020. Initially it was a free service which was great, with a great customer service. Then they started charging, that was fine because they still had a great customer service. But over the past couple of years their customer service has fallen through the floor. Every single time I contact them (which isn’t that often), their response, is to essentially to tell me to ditch my accountant and sign up with one of their affiliated accountants. never any help with the problem I ask about.
Bokio have responded with" From what I can tell you are a user of Bokio UK. The service of Bokio is different in UK vs SWE. We would kindly ask you to rate Bokio UK instead of here (SWE), and our colleagues will look into your prior support cases."
Well given that the reply comes from support-at-bokio.se It looks to me like they are just trying to water down the negative reviews. So thanks but no thanks
