I spoke with David and from Bonds…

I spoke with David and from Bonds batteries I needed a battery he said ring the Bendigo branch and to mention that I spoke with him
Well when I rang the Bendigo branch unbelievable rudeness didn't really want my work it was all to hard. Like I had a flat battery and the guy on the other end of the phone said bring it in,of course not I don't know how to get the battery out . They Bonds advertised they have a service to your car when the battery is flat and replace it. I rang Battery World they were lovely said when they would out nothing was to much trouble I will use them again
NOT BONDS

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs, I purchased a battery here for $700, 2 years and 2 days later, the battery just stopped working. When I spoke to the guy here, he told me it was my fault, it didn't work and I must have let it go dead by not using it enough... I drive my car every day! It was two days out of warranty, and they wouldn't help me at all. They then tried to sell me a new battery over over $700, no thanks I'd rather buy one elsewhere, where I'm not treated with such disrespect. When I originally purchased I was told it would last a lot longer, which is why I was happy to pay the over priced amount... Never again

Bond customer service

I contacted Bond batteries direct after the local supplier would not give a warranty on a battery just 12 months old.
David Bond rang me back and proceeded to tell me all the things I was doing wrong, atthis point I told him that the batteries I had used previously had worked well. He then told me all batteries are the same with different labels on them , and I was not listening to him.At this point he called me a Dhead and he hung up in my ear.

Purchased Bond 120 amp hr AMG batteries

Purchased Bond 120 amp hr AMG batteries 2 years ago which have worked great until recently, some internal issue apparently a good news story should be promoted.

Tom Bond ( Bond Batteries Hoppers Crossing ) provided verbal assistance whilst we were still travelling then arranged for warranty replacement of the batteries, no mess, no fuss just excellent service.

Three cheers Bond Batteries !

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!

Purchased 2 brand new batteries, apparently with a 3 year warranty, but had nothing but troubles with them and they finally died after 7 months!!!!
When we followed up with Bond Batteries, we were met with nothing but rude and condescending manners from a worker and then from ‘the owner’ who practically laughed in our faces and refused to even discuss the matter and compared buying a battery and asking for a refund after it died, to ‘buying a pie and returning the next day asking for a refund’…???
Will be telling anyone who will listen that Bond Batteries in Bayswater offer terrible products, won’t stick to warranties and have horrible customer service.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Bizarre buying experience

Bizarre buying experience. Took 30 minutes to get a battery when I knew exactly what I wanted. Lots of waffle. They didn't come across as professional at all. They wrote the purchase date all over the top of my brand new battery with an ugly gold texta. I'm not having that ugly scribble in my pristine engine bay so I will need to clean it off. I had a valid trade order and I didn't ask the price because they have always been really good. Looking online afterwards I found they charged me about $60 more than the retail price. I have been using Bond batteries in all my vehicles for 25 years. They are not the same staff that were there last time I was there and I think there must be new owners. Unfortunately I can cross them off my list of good suppliers. Hopefully I can find a better Bond supplier.

Battery ruined by BMW electronics, an expensive lesson

I Bought a Bond battery for my BMW that was not registered so it was not started regularly. The battery went flat because of the car's electronics continually using battery power. I tried to recharge it but it would not charge. I took it back to Bond Batteries and after testing it and cutting it open was told that it had become sulphated and shorted out inside. The battery was only 6 months old but was not covered by their warranty because I was told it was my fault for not having it on trickle charge when not being used. When I purchased it I was not made aware that it would be ruined if it was allowed to completely discharge. Not sure this would be the case for all battery brands. Store your battery appropriately if not being used regularly so that It won't suffer the same fate as mine did. An expensive $350 lesson.

Bond batteries are garbage 👀

Bond batteries last too long 👀. These batteries are garbage. Their best battery only comes with a 2 year warranty, if they were even half decent they’d have a minimum 3 years. Bond brothers are a pair of con merchants. The battery only has to go flat once and it’s stuffed. Over a 12 month period l put these batteries in all my vehicles and machinery, what a mistake. I fell for the con advert 👀where the grey headed ones eyes pop out of his head. They have to keep advertising because everyone is sick of their garbage batteries. Buy a reputable brand and stay away from this 💩
