A fantastic activity day
A fantastic activity day, which included Quad Bikes, Rage Buggies, Archery and Laser Clay pigeon shooting. We started with a safety briefing, then a practice session on the Quad Bikes. The team gave instructions and guidance as necessary, and safety was the primary consideration. Once we had a few turns round the field, and the instructors were confident in our abilities, the fun started. The course was challenging, with plenty of mud and standing water, and we ended up at the top of a hill with a fantastic view. We stopped there for a chance to take photos, then made our way back to the farm.
Rage Buggies were next; where we had time trials around a muddy oval track with deep puddles. It was fantastic fun, and we were encouraged to compete with one another to achieve the best time.
Lunch was included, followed by Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery.
Competition was actively encouraged in both activities; with several modes of shooting, each with it's own scoring. Instruction was excellent for both the shooting and the archery, and safety was stressed.
At the end of the day we were wet, muddy and tired. But all agreed that it was a great day, which we fully intend to repeat in the future.
