Pure Scam
I cannot comprehend that such a big company could have a scam campaign.
We saw that Bosch had a campaign where they offer cashback for Bosch appliances bought in a specific period. We thought Bosch makes quality products, and even if we buy a higher-end model we would recuperate part of the price from the cashback campaign. The campaign was advertised as buy for a maximum of 40,000 DKK and get 20% back. Well, it turns out that:
- if you purchase 2 appliances and they are on the same invoice, only the cheapest qualifies for the cashback
- some of the Bosch appliances don’t qualify for some reason
So after purchasing their latest model washing machine, dryer, and a fridge, only the washing machine qualified. What a scam!!!
Not to mention that the dryer glass cover broke in the 2nd week and had to be replaced. So, we were wrong about the quality as well. After this experience we won’t be buying Bosch products anymore.

I tried to write for fully to help you all understand just how bad a PRODUCT and COMPANY this is, but Bosch seem able to on most platforms to disallow reviews they dont like. But lets try again: 1) A useless product with poor battery life and poor suction; 2) a poor warranty, especially the 10 year motor warranty which is unusable as its parts only, and the labour is prohibitively expensive relative to the product value. 3) Customer service amongst the worst I have every experinced. Please save your money. A dustpan and brush is more effective than this junk, and you won't have to deal with the excruciating customer service team.

Purchased Bosch Unlimited 7 cordless vacuum cleaner Jan 2024. Pleased with it. Stopped working Friday 19th Dec. Tried everything to resolve problem. Called Bosch Service line Sat 20th and call handled very well by a REAL person. She pointed out I had a 2 year warranty, I thought it was 1, and arranged free call out. Service engineer arrived as planned Monday 22nd and suspected faulty charger. He arranged for replacement by fedex delivery which arrived today 24th. New charger fine and we’re back to normal.

Terrible product, do not buy it
It has not been a year that I bought a Bosch vacuum cleaner powered with battery (cordless). It was able to work for 3/4 minutes in the beginning, but now it lasts only a few seconds. Totally useless and just waste of money. There's something really wrong with this product. I totally do not recommend it.

The customer service is absolutely awful.Apart from a very lengthy wait on the phone, the Customer service agent said she would ring back didn't, then when I rung back they said they would email me they didnt.
I've been on the phone from 9am on and off until 1 PM, Then when I rang back they're asking me for Spare part numbers of parts I require in my fridge freezer how do I know what the part numbers are? Customer service with no help at all.

After a few months my Prohygenic dropped dirt back onto the floor as soon as it’s switched off. The Dynamic Aqua is not Dynamic. It barely dampens the floor and after a few minutes the pads are dry. I would not recommend this product. I have yet to contact customer service in Denmark but looking at all the complaints about the level of service I can’t face picking up the telephone.

Defect products and absolute no support. I ve got a new fridge and it doesnt work. So I called the technical service and they connected me to an expert on phone and he was completely unaware, he started to read the manual and gave me really illogical advices and then he didnt give up and wasted more time saying there must be a button there , I had to point out a picture to show him that this model does not have that button. Then they told me they can come and fix the brand new defect product after 11 days. What should I do 11 days without a frdige. Dont get stressed with your own money. Never bosch again.

I'm incredibly disappointed with the quality of service that I have received from Bosch.
In 2022, I bought a compact Dishwasher that can sit on top of a counter. I have a small kitchen. I have bought other Dishwashers and other items from Bosch before. I was more than happy to buy the Dishwasher due to the very high quality of their products.
By 2024, two and a half years later. The Dishwasher had broken down on three occasions. The plug had fused twice, causing a significant power cut each time. On one occasion, there was a major draining problem. I'd contact Bosch, who gave me the following two options.
{A.} As the warranty had finished, they suggested I buy a new model.
{B.} Bosch would fix my Dishwasher at *Eye-watering prices.*
I strongly feel that as the Dishwasher constantly broke down, I had bought a faulty product from the start. I know I have to make an important decision. Do I get Legal advice?
I plan to refit my kitchen. Based on my experience with Bosch, I'm unsure as to whether I should buy another Bosch product?
I have now decided to find out how to contact the Small Claims Court! Because I had purchased a faulty item.

Bosch Rotak 750 Lawn Mower poor quality.
Purchased Bosch Rotak 750 Lawn mower in 2023 and after a year the machine is making a grinding noise, the ON/OFF switch is not working, most of the screws have rusted/ corroded. Quality is very poor, flimsy not as good as previous lawnmowers.
Fridge freezer food …
My just 4 years old Bosch fridge freezer has now gone wrong the Fridge is freezing all the food it’s set at 4 but my thermometer is showing -10 it really doesn’t matter what you try and set it on it’s still showing -10 in the Fridge yes the fridge and Bosch can not get to us for two weeks weeks.
Update the engineer was at my house on Saturday and fixed the problem in 2 minutes replaced a part at the back and did it for free under warranty and did not charge for the call out now that what a call service I now give it 5 stars.
Bosch indego m+700
In 2020, i bought a bosch indego M+700 in Denmark for a vacation house. As I live in Norway, i thought it might be possible to use it while I'm not there. I soon found out that this is certainly not possible as it will seldom go back into the docking station. But that is not even the reason for this review.
After a summer of usage while we stayed at the house I tired to update the firmware through the official iOS app. But that unfortunately didn't work and as it turns out that this actually bricked the motherboard. As we had to leave home to Norway a few days after this happened, I contacted support and asked if I could take the lawn mover home to Norway and send in for a reparation there. But I got informed that this was not possible to do and I would have to do that in Denmark. REALLY??
So obviously I couldn't do that and thought i would send it in in Denmark the next time I'm there.
But it turns out that that time didn't come because I had to leave for the US for work for 2 years and couldn't return to Denmark before now. And of course the warranty in the meantime expired. But then again I expected Bosch to look at the fault and replace my lawn mower as it clearly was broken by their incompetence of their developers.
But now, I instead get an "Offer" to fix the lawn mower for DKK 5.679,25. Here I think I have to mention that I bought the lawn mower for DKK 6500.
Really Bosch, that's how good you can do? Good luck with that model going forward. I will certainly not spend ANY more money on any Bosch product after having experienced that. Any other company i know, even simple motherboard companies which brick a motherboard, will replace the unit for free.

Bosch Rotak 650 Lawnmower - don't buy
Shame I can't give zero stars, Bosch Rotak 650 Lawnmower motor burned out just one month after 2 year warranty expired. Looking for new mower I find out from Which? report that this is a known design flaw, the motor fills with grass cuttings, causing failure. Bosch said they would charge for repair if I packed up the mower & sent it to them. As spring has finally arrived I have had a look myself & yes, the motor is jammed with grass cuttings. The new 'Advanced' model apparently solves this problem, but costs about £100 more than the 'Universal' model which I bought & is still on the market. How a well respected company can allow this type of problem to destroy their hard earned reputation is beyond me.

Used them for my vw and they caused a misfire and lots of carbon in my engine. Even though they say they are designed for this vehicle they are made with a removable terminal nut. That means they are designed for other applications as well. This means they didn’t want to spend extra money to design something specifically for my vehicle. The removable nut started getting loose in my engine and the connection suffered. And one time in another vehicle one of their plugs broke inside the cylinder. After 8 years of going away from Bosch to many other spark plug brands who actually designed the plugs with a solid nut specifically for my car including American brands. I took a look at some Bosch plugs to see if they fixed the problem unfortunately it is still the same removable nut. What’s more they have a weak piece of cardboard paper that protects the end of the plug. All the other brands have a strong cardboard or even a hard plastic protection. So Bosch is going south constantly. I also installed Bosch rotors on my car and after a few months I can see cracks in the rotors. I’m never going Bosch. It’s a shame in the past Bosch plugs were the best. Bosch is what made German cars great. Everything on a German car was made by Bosch. Now they are all moving away.
Bosch products are a nightmare if they fail!
The worst products and customer support I have ever experienced. I had a heat pump installed about 4 years ago, and it worked fine for about 2 years until it started failing. I then tried to get a hold of Bosch customer support, which was a nightmare with all the different phone numbers they had listed and usually ended up being transferred a million times. Also, when I called it was not a danish person who took the call, which was just annoying. So, finally getting through to them and explaining the situation they just said it was my own fault because the pipes were wrong. I then had to get a plumber out to look at the pipes, and he concluded that the pipes were fine. Taking that information back to Bosch they simply denied and reiterated their answer. I then get another plumber out to just get the pipes “fixed” in accordance with Bosch advice. This plumber also says there is nothing wrong with the pipes. Eventually I got a visit from a Bosch technician who didn’t fix the problem, but fixed something else — a bad connection on the cable to the electric heat booster. I get a huge bill for something that didn’t fix the problem at all, and I then sort of gave up. Now, I tried again because I had a plumber look at it and concluded that the problem is in the inside part of the heat pump system. Same story of the painful experience of having to figure out the right number and no one answering the god damn phone when transferred — just horrible!
This is over the course of 2 YEARS that I have been trying to get a hold of Bosch and get a technician out to actually LOOK at the thing they’ve sold me, diagnose the problem and fix it. The system is making a whole lot of noises that it didn’t used to, and every plumber I’ve had look at it says it is quite obviously not the pipes, there is something broken in their system — presumably the inside part of it.
I’m sitting here with a Bosch heating system that has been broken for 2 years, just trying to get help and they refuse at every opportunity and try to explain away or blame the problem on something else. They take no responsibility and it has cost me quite a bit of money, as the system simply stops until I manually restart it every time it fails. I either have the option of letting the system use only the electric heat booster (which is VERY expensive) or risk damage to my house as it would cool below the threshold for which damage can occur. And I have no way of restarting it remotely while I’m at work, and have had to resort to asking friends to stay at my place, just to keep an eye on it. It has taken quite a toll on my mental health as well, being constantly stressed out of whether or not the heating system was going to fail, and not being able to get the needed help from Bosch.
As an aside, their remote control app is also just useless, slow and horrible. It is buggy and something as simple as providing a support telephone number in the app result in you being redirected to a browser page where it says “404 - Not Found”.
I will never buy a Bosch product ever again. I almost convinced there is apt reason for suing them based on these experiences. Buying their product has caused economic, mental health and house damage.
Super service, but get updated with new technology
We have several Bosch equipments, and we have been very happy with these. However, now some are getting old and seems Bosch is not able to supply us new. They stopped producing Irons, which is too bad as I had my Sensixx for 14 year and happy for it every day.
Our Bosch lawn mover they could not supply spares, - understandable as it is 9 years old, but they have not a portfolio with the latest technology which is too bad. Now we have a Seegway and we are happy for it as we do not need a wire in the grass, and we can change the garden card whenever we want it. The mover is also heavier which means the mover does not get stucked in wholes. It is very powerfull, which I can see is the problem for many other lawn movers.
However, Bosch has a very good customer service, and we are sad we cannot continue with Bosch.
