Botanical Interests Reviews 

I have been ordering seeds from Botanical Interest for several years. They are my favorite for 3 reasons:
A. Variety of unique or hard-to-find seeds, as well as tried and true regulars that Grandpa planted.
B. I have never had seeds that were duds. There is always excellent germination and the plants are healthy and fruitful, both veggies and flowers.
C. The packets are beautiful and informational. I truly have joy when I study them and they are an obvious choice when giving a gift that a pack of seeds can go in. I keep packets on hand just for that!
I am an 'early model' retired Idahoan who got into container gardening about 10 years ago and Botanical Interest is 90% of my seed bank. My favorite one of all time? The Black Cat Pumpkin! Oh what fun it is to give these to the kids (even adult ones) when they come to visit!

The clear sowing instructions make these so easy. I have fantastic germination rates with all seeds I buy from botanical interests, whether it's for flowers, veggies, or herbs.

Over the years I've purchased lots of heirloom and hybrid vegetable seeds from Botanical interests and they have never let me down. Great service, quick response and above all, good germination rates keep me coming back.

I've ordered from BI many times (most recently in Dec '24) and have always had a great experience. The prices are competitive, the shipping time is prompt, and the quality of the seeds and merchandise is great. They also run a lot of holiday/off-season sales and promotions (e.g., for free shipping), so you can stock up if you're patient. Further, their parent company, Epic Gardening, was among the first US businesses to offer truly durable, infinitely reusable seed-starting trays and cells to home gardeners at reasonable prices for small quantities -- and it's all made in the US, to boot.

This company is my absolute favorite seed company! I found them through searching online for a specific option of seeds; Organic ones! I was so impressed how each and every seed packet is beautifully illustrated with excellent tips on how to care for and grow each variety of seeds. I spent several hours selecting numerous packets the first time around. I was very excited about how soon they arrived at my door. Their reusable packaging is also a huge benefit to me! I have returned to their website several times this season and ordered even more seeds. I have started many of the seeds using my hydroponic systems this winter. Now my plants are growing beautifully outside in my raised bed garden. This company is very friendly, helpful, trustworthy and reliable! They are one of my favorite places to shop and enjoy each selection with every visit!

Loved it! The site is easy to navigate and well organized. Really great buying experience. And quick checkout too! The seeds are great too! Haven’t had too many fail on me (the ones that did was my fault.) overall very satisfied with my purchase and growing experience! Everything is going VERY well, even gifted my father in law some hot pepper seeds. He had to give me some because he’s out of room because they ALL germinated, not that I was complaining of course!

Ease of use of the Botanical Interests website, great packaging and fast shipping are all the main reasons why I usually order seeds from Botanical Interests. I also enjoy the wide variety offered, but I especially enjoy growing vegetable, flower, and herb seeds specifically for small gardens and a home gardener.

The quality and presentation of the product is unmatched. Seeds germinate readily; the plants grow hardy.

I love Botanical Interests! I have been purchasing their seeds for many, many years. Most have excellent germination; every once in a while some don't, but that's sort of the nature of the gardening game. I don't fault them when it happens--that's how nature works. :) Customer service for both them and their new parent company are OUTSTANDING. I order from the website and I also purchase seeds at a few of my local retailers. I cannot recommend them enough as a 3-plus decade gardener.

There good seeds that are affordably. I've been a customer for a few years now and have had great results with both flower and vegetable seeds.

I had been using another well known vendor, but that vendor refused to give zone and other planting info on their website. The vendor told me that I could look up that info online or contact them for information on each plant. This was unacceptable!

I had used Botanical Interests many years prior, so I thought I would give them a try again. I absolutely love their new bundles that they offer throughout the year. They are very fun. At Christmas time, I bought the Sandwich Bundle, which included sprouts, microgreens, spinach, lettuce, cucumber, and tomato seeds. This was a great gift for my gardener friends. They all loved it! Botanical Interests has offered Game of Throne bundles, Halloween themed bundles, herbal bundles, patriotic bundles, etc. The bundles are fun, and the best part is, it gets the kids involved in gardening! I do wish that Botanical Interest had more unique herb seeds, but I am very happy with the experience that I have had with them.

Botanical Interests is one of my go-to online seed suppliers. They have a great variety of veggies and flowers, and for the most part germination has been above average. The seed packet info is one of the easiest to read and understand, but I would like to have maturity dates added to them. Otherwise, I've very happy with what I've purchased and would recommend to any gardener.

Great Package Appeal - The design and information on and inside the seed pack have been very helpful for beginners. The beautiful art on the front packs is what grabbed my attention. May, Columbus, OH

Botanical Interests has the greatest selection I've found. Anything from "gradma's garden" old time favorites to some that I'd consider "exotic". I love shopping their site. Shipping is resonable, both speed and price.
