I bought my house with Bramleys in 2014 and sold it in 2026 . I found them to be very friendly and excellent communicators. They were very non judgmental. I was moving in and out of the area too . I would highly recommend using Bramleys and am very grateful for all their assistance.

Top class service

As an executor we had to sell a deceased friends property. Joeanne and her team at Bramleys at Elland were top class at a difficult time. They were professional and committed throughout the process; always kept us informed and secured a sale and subsequent completion. I would have no hesitation in recommending them

Unfair Treatment (deceitful)

Disappointed with the way my viewing was handled—initially scheduled, then canceled and rescheduled in a way that gave others a clear advantage. I wasn’t given a fair chance to view or offer before the property was taken off the market.

Avoid Bramleys Mirfield

Started off really well with the manager who valued the property, gave a great percentage to sell, delivered everything they said they would
Then it goes downhill - first buyer refused to provide proof of funds to Bramleys who wouldn’t challenge - agreed a date of March with buyer. I had to do all the liaising as they wouldn’t speak to the buyer. Fell through as our buyer had lied but if Bramleys had done their job then would have been known earlier
Put back on market, communication went up a level and was good whilst it was up for sale. Once sold, it was awful. Have an area for sellers to access to see progress, would be good if they actually updated it. Patronising in communication, had to chase, don’t answer calls or emails. Was only cos of our buyer we knew when we were likely to move and progress. I would never use Bramleys again - they are unprofessional, afraid of confrontation and never update you. All they want is your money. So disappointed as started well but service doesn’t exist once you have sold.
Felt great value when signed contract - in reality wasn’t value for money at all and shocking service.
PS their surveys on new property are brilliant - communication was great, honesty throughout and great advice / shame the estate agent side isn’t the same high level

Avoid these if you can!!!

Avoid these if you can! Terrible! We were told that all viewings were on hold on a property we wanted to buy and we got to the day of a property being sold SSTC and we were told someone else was going into the office to also show proof of funds and ID. The following unfolded.

We got to the day of SSTC and we was then out the blue asked to wait five months so the owners could purchase their new home and we said it was not possible as we had a buyer waiting for our own property that had been sold, they then sold the house we had offered on to another who said they would wait . We were lied to constantly and the sales woman at Bramleys in question was extremely obnoxious with us, our solicitors and our own estate agents. The branch manager clearly was not prepared to speak with us either and it was all very underhand. Clearly all the while and all week we were showing proof of funds, had our ID checked by our solicitor and were going through all of this all week unbeknown to us Bramleys were clearly in the knowledge of a long wait to completion yet we had been asked many times for a quick sale! They obviously had been taking other offers when we were on the last day sstc and about there. All because they could not negotiate a completion date and flatly refused our attempts to discuss and sold it to someone else within an hour of being told we had to wait. Keep clear… absolutely appalling and unprofessional to the core. I had made a complaint but the untruths just kept coming and they believed their own lies. There you have it… Bramleys of Elland. Terrible.

Highly Recommended

We recently used Bramleys to sell a property and they were excellent from start to finish. Their high quality services and expertise meant that we were able to generate a lot of interest in a relatively short time.

Every member of staff we dealt with at Bramleys struck the perfect balance of professionalism with a very human touch - they managed the expectations of all parties beautifully and when the inevitable hiccups occurred, they provided a very steady hand on the rudder.

I would not hesitate to recommend Bramleys and would definitely use them again.

They are pretty good at repairs and maintenance but unfortunately, they keep putting up the rent and my income is not going up to keep up with it as I am a pensioner and I have arthritis and other problems which is costing me more than the average person to cope with so this is causing me extreme anxiety, depression and worry. I am already having to cut down on food and heating costs. If things get worse I am wring to all the newspapers, MPs etc. Update: Recent roof leak, the guy said he would come back to put up an emergency covering but that never happened on Saturday, its Monday and still no cover. No answer to phone calls.
