I had a truly frustrating experience with this bridal store. From the start, the staff seemed disinterested and focused their attention on customers spending more on high-ticket items, making me feel like an afterthought. Two separate salespeople confirmed my dress was the right size the zipper only needed to be fixed since it was gaping open at the top when fully zipped, only to later tell me (after i had to ask why it hadn't been fixed after i had picked it up and tried it on) that it was wrong and that I needed a bigger one—then suggested I just return it. No accountability, no real solution, I am once again without a dress and have to go through the process again.
They promised to notify me when the dress was ready for pickup, but I never received a single message. Instead, I had to call them several times throughout the week, hoping someone would answer. Communication was completely lacking.
When trying to arrange pickup, they insisted on placing my dress in an unsecured box with no code or protection, which anyone could have taken—completely irresponsible. To top it off, they charged me 51kr for a paper bag I never asked for and flat-out refused to refund it, even when returning the dress.
They also kept trying to push products on me that I had already said I didn’t like. And when I pointed out the poor service, they brushed it off by saying “that’s just how it is in Denmark.” I’ve worked in retail in Denmark for five years—I’m very aware of what standard service should look like, and this was not it. My Danish partner and his parents agreed this treatment was unreasonable and unacceptable and they've never seen anything like it.
When I asked for a refund, I was told their MobilePay system was "conveniently" not working. Their initial solution? I should just write down my bank details and hope for a refund later. It was only after I firmly insisted that they process it immediately that they finally did so. Completely unprofessional and lacking any basic sense of customer care.
Shopping for a dress should be special—not stressful, dismissive, and filled with excuses. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.
