Nightmare Fishing Trip

I am a novice sea fisherman, this is only my second trip at sea. I am however an experienced freshwater fisherman and love the sport.

I was part of the group of varying skills and expertise, and had a nightmare day at the hands of the skipper, (Steve).

Steve knew I was an absolute novice, yet he showed zero interest in giving me instruction, or help that would’ve made my day enjoyable.

Not only that, but he was rude and dismissive of my attempts to catch, and displayed irritation virtually every time he spoke to me.

Approximately halfway through the day, I became aware that the rig I had been given to fish with, had little chance of catching anything other than Sea bream, whilst others around me were catching a wide variety of interesting fish, and in good volume too.

My total haul for the day, (7hrs at sea) was just two mackerel and one sea bream, and I had to endure the rudeness of the captain.

This fishing trip should be avoided at all costs.
