My dad has dementia and we don't live nearby. Bright Care in Glasgow provided an excellent, reliable service, tailored to his needs, which gave us peace of mind. All the staff who looked after him were lovely and went above and beyond with their care.
It was also helpful having an app which gave me a report on each visit.

My wife has Dementia. We are both elderly and want her to remain in our home where she feels safe. 24 hour care at home seemed the solution. We were recommended to Bright Care close by in Cranleigh. We found the Managers & Staff very understanding and helpful and our two regular Carers Dresden & Manetia both very competent and a joy to be with. It has only been just over 6 months but we are so glad we chose Bright care.

My parents have been using Brightcare Horsham for over two years, starting with day visits by a wonderful team of Emily, Kristina, Sarah & Tamara. The last 6 months we have used live-in care. Milly provided very thorough and attentive care for Dad , which was especially appreciated during the last few weeks and days of his life. Milly was a fantastic support to the family during a very emotional time.Dad could remain at home with the exceptionally high standard of care from Milly. We continue to use live-in care for Mum. Laura in the office has worked with us to get the right match of care, listening to when a carer has not been completely right and providing a better match, with the brilliant Dresden, Sophie and Emily providing consistently high level of care and companionship for Mum, to enable her to stay in her own home. Thank you all.

I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism. My name was misspelled despite being clearly stated in my CV. In a medical environment, where precision is vital, this raises serious concerns...if basic details are overlooked, what about critical ones like patient information or medication?
Later edit: Got a reply from them saying that they’re sorry to hear that I was disappointed with my experience when applying for a job with them. Accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important to Bright Care, and after reviewing my application, they can confirm that the spelling of my name they used was as it appeared on the original form submitted to them:))
However, I would like to point out that the CV I submitted clearly shows my name spelled correctly as “Andreia Corina Corfu.” Based on this, I do not believe the error originated from my application.
As they highlighted, accuracy and attention to detail are essential, particularly in a professional and healthcare-related environment. For this reason, I find the mistake concerning.
Furthermore, as English is my second language and I take great care to ensure my communication is accurate without relying on automated tools, I believe it is reasonable to expect the same level of attention and authenticity from a professional organisation.

Company has a discriminatory job application approach. “Strange”?
I’m adding to this post as I’ve just found a company pamphlet advertisement in the post box of the client I’m presently taking care of on a farm and yet the company declined to pursue my application…

We contacted Bright Care in Melrose in July 2025 for my husband Finlay. He suffers from Altzheimers but keeps very active and loves walking. Since I have arthritis I cannot keep up with him on walks. We now have two lovely carers , Amanda and Sharon , who come on alternate Wednesday afternoons to go out with him for a walk and usually finish up in the local coffee shop. He really looks forward to their arrival and enjoys their company. They are very professional and caring and we are both delighted. The service we have experienced starting with Rhiann’s first visit to discuss our needs through to setting up the plan for Finlay has been excellent and we would recommend this company for their professionalism.

Brightcare take a lot of pride in their role as one of the UK's top care providers. Most significantly are the meaningful relationships they build with their clients who are given a care experience above anything I have seen in my 18 years as a carer.
The staff are well taken care of and the training excellent in preparing them to be the best in what they do.
Brightcare will always achieve excellence as it is at the heart of what they do. I really enjoyed the time i worked for them and wish the Perth branch in particular, all the very best.

A real ability to hold professional boundaries with kindness and compassion. Flexibility and common sense are obvious and an absence of being patronised. Brilliant.

We employed the services of Brightcare to support my Dad who had been in a hospice but had then asked to spend his final weeks in his home. Laura at the BrightCare Horsham office was with us every step of the way and offered support and reassurance that gave us confidence that our Dad was in safe hands. Rosha and Sharmila were the two lovely nurses that looked after our dad and both showed great kindness in his care. In particular I appreciated the detailed notes both left on the BIRDY app which gave us updates on Dad in between our visits. Brightcare were with us right through to the end and my sister and I really appreciated all of their support for Dad during this difficult time.

My wife has benefited greatly benefited from our Julieta's weekly visits, when she can converse in fluent Spanish which they both enjoy. This has boosted her confidence and also gives her something to look forward to. Thank you.

I have recently applied to become a carer with Bright care at the Brighton Branch and was asked to go in for an informal interview. Mary the branch manger made me feel really welcome, and immediately put me at ease. We chatted for ages over freshly brewed coffee. Mary really took the time to get to know me as a person. I'm looking forward to seeing where this opportunity will take me

Have been with BrightCare Perth since end of January 2023 after Mum unfortunately being in hospital four times last year. Together with their invaluable care and attention, Manager Kerry and lovely Carer's Linda, Rachael and Karen I'm very pleased to say that Mum has happily been continuously cared for at home. Very respectful and caring, nothing is too much trouble. Knowing that their morning visits are due, gives me so much needed support. Mum is always happy to see them and when I arrive back home to take over, I can hear the laughter.
The company world’s no1 company provide good experience
I have followed Bright Care from inception so it was natural that when Care at Home for an elderly relative was required I approached Bright Care Perth. As a family we have not been disappointed in the personal care and support package that the Broughty Ferry team have provided. We are reassured by the ability to access on line notes on each visit undertaken by a team member. This is an advantage when not living in the vicinity. The team have stepped up the level of support as and when required always keeping the family in the loop. The team without exception are respectful and communicative.
I have recommended the organisation on several occasions and will continue to do so.
