Used their website contact form first, but got no auto-acknowledgement (which you usually get from such a format) so tried a text message to the published mobile a day or so later. Still no reply after 5 days. Have gone elsewhere in the meantime as our problem is urgent. Maybe the people are really busy (which is good for them) or on holiday, but no acknowledgment at all is not good business.

Ricky gave a comprehensive quote very quickly and adapted it to suit changing need, he was very responsive and organised, the work started and finished on time, so far looks like quality work and all cleaned up afterwards. No problems. Thank you!

We engaged with BDS South West Ltd to address a woodworm infestation in our roof void. Our experience of the service provided by BDS was excellent from quote through to completion. The administration around the job was prompt and solutions to problems encountered whilst undertaking the work were communicated and resolved immediately. They found the issue straight away and gave us a detailed explanation how the work would be carried out. We were extremely pleased with the high standard of work and care taken by the team to keep other areas of the house clean. A professional service and we could highly recommend them, nothing was too much trouble.

They understood the problem and recommended a solution. The work was carried out to that solution and on schedule. Friendly and tidy workers.

Two internal walls required damp proofing due to rain damage. They came along, pulled up the carpets, ripped off the skirting boards (breaking them), and made an unholy mess. Then failed to properly clean up by, for example, pulling the carpet back over rubble.

While doing the walls they managed to somehow damage the window sill and, worse, not bother to tell me.

On the plus side they did send someone to fix the damage but I felt I had to withhold some payment until they did as I had absolutely no faith that they would repair the damage unless I did.

My complaint was dealt with by them implying they were doing me a favour by turning up and I was making a fuss about nothing.

I am still waiting for my "guarantee"’ although it may be worthless as I can’t see them staying in business much longer. Text messages asking for it have been ignored, which is a warning sign to anyone else contemplating using this company.

Not recommended.

Responded promptly, arrived on time, and completed work as promised. The lads who carried out the work were friendly and cared for the rest of the house.
They were professionals and got the job done. I would use them again.
